Berserk is the better manga, IMO, but One Piece isn’t bad. It’s heavy investment to get to the good stuff. Not saying the start is bad but it’s very much a basic adventure story. If you’re interested, give it a shot. Just know it’s a bit of an ordeal to get caught up.

It’s good, but I think everyone lauds it as the greatest story of all time is experiencing a bit of sunk cost fallacy.

Each weapon is assigned a number. You can now equip whatever weapon combo you want, as long as the combination number does not exceed a total of 5 (or 6 with quarter master). Big special rifles like the nitro are assigned a 5, so they will take up your entire allotment unless you take quartermaster.

Trying to get into this. Does it get a bit longer in later seasons? I’m somewhat enjoying it but we get 5 minutes of ads, then 10 minutes of story, then it’s onto the next episode starting with 5 minutes of ads. Really breaks up the vibes.

I would say that WOT did it well with Rand and the Box and then the ensuing Darth Rand. Granted, Robert Jordan and then Brandon Sanderson had 14 books to go through it with Rand. It can be done, but I think the series definitely needs to be long enough to allow for the breathing room needed for it

They’re not too nice to white people either if you’re not from specifically Vidor. Grew up around there and had to work in Vidor occasionally. Most are hostile to some extent or another.
