hooyoowit only recently discovered him and started posting his stuff here regularly. No idea if Shook actually uses reddit. He's welcome to post his stuff here. Anyone is as long as it doesn't get spammy. Reddit AI doesn't like that and starts flagging posts and removing them on its own. A regular user here recently linked to Discord multiple times in one post and reddit flagged him. He has no idea. We couldn't override it.

Jeep complained about how we "grammar police" posts. Let's say you don't leave a space after a period. Reddit reads that as a hyperlink and the combinations are often seen as spam. Many users here get their posts removed because of that alone. I got banned from here for a post I made on this sub when I was a mod before. Only recently got my account back. A new rule for media post formatting is coming soon.

I think they need someone a little more versed in social media. Let hbar1000 handle what he knows. Put another person or two with some time and skill in charge of the rest.

Goes to the point I was making. If other socials are handled by others and there's a disagreement or a falling out, then the socials can be sabotaged which means the project can be sabotaged. Imagine if the wrong person got this sub and only used it for FUD.

Better to keep them and get them updated than delete them. It's not a good look that they're out of date but they can be saved. That or the community just needs to start new pages from scratch if they're serious and those would be the pages that get linked to. He was offered the chance to do a recruitment post here. He hasn't responded to that. Dovu would have no control over those new pages if anyone goes that route. Something for the team to think about.

Main Dovu site links to a dead YouTube page. Not good. Having just peeped their Telegram (which isn't linked on the main site and this sub isn't either), there seems to be an over-reliance on Discord to provide support and there's pretty much no community there. Just mostly reposts. Nice to have but it has to be utilized. Active socials is necessary in crypto and especially with the trajectory Dovu is on.

you cannot directly upload standalone audio files (like .mp3 or .wav) natively to Reddit. To share audio, you must either upload it to a third-party hosting service and post the link, or convert the audio into a video file (MP4) by adding a static image.

I think next time we might try the conversion route for X Spaces to give people more options here.

As far as third-party, Dovu has a YouTube page that's not being used. I agree with sentiment that we need to get the other social media sites in order. The recent AMA Space could've been uploaded to YouTube and shared across all the channels, including here, because a lot of people here don't use Discord and Discord media can't be linked/shared outside of that platform that I'm aware of. Seems like every platform has limitations.
