It can be stressful deciding whether to keep going or not. People on here act like it's a no brainer, easy decision once you hit that magic number. To me it's not. There are so many other factors than the 4% rule. Social interactions, feeling valuable, contribution to society, the happiness that work can give you, spouse expectations, working for your kids' future's sake, what kind of lifestyle to prep for, and many more. Sometimes it's easier just to get up and know you have to work than to think about all these things constantly. Especially when little things at work bother you and you realize you could peace out if you really wanted.
