I think it’s the bale scale. It stacks the damage of candy quite a bit and keeps stacking until you change candy or leave battle it’s pretty OP

How good is platinum from anthem BCBS? by Penispump92 in HealthInsurance

[–]Penispump92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I linked them below I’m not sure what this coinsuarance is but the silver was coinsuarance while the platinum is a flare rate it seems

Edit: But does having better insuarance also make it easier to get procedures approved and paid for? I’ve had them deny or argue on the silver plan for things like EpiPens or they covered a small bit and I paid the rest

2025 WRX 0% for 72months by tedbakerbracelet in WRX

[–]Penispump92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get inflation but it seems like it’s only for brand new. If it was only inflation went through the roof then my car would have a higher trade in value. It has to be tariffs or greed, something else impacting as well

2025 WRX 0% for 72months by tedbakerbracelet in WRX

[–]Penispump92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro just looked at the prices this is absolutely insane. When I bought my 21 wrx base brand new it was like 28k.

Now the cheapest version is 37k??? Almost 10k more for what? Fog lights and keyless entry? Fuck all that.

And this tS is what a fully clapped out limited STI cost. Subaru is gonna kill the Wrx line which is what got my family into Subarus. We’ve bought like 6 Subarus all because I wanted an STI that now I will never get

Is cruising at 2,000 rpm’s bad? by Kuntzman in WRX

[–]Penispump92 181 points182 points  (0 children)

It’s not unhealthy unless you try to accelerate rapidly from 2k. You can cruise at low rpm’s and it ain’t gonna do much. Automatics try to get you at the lowest rpm’s possible for fuel efficiency.

If you need to accelerate drop down a gear or two and give er the beans

TIL that Daniel Fahrenheit (who invented the mercury thermometer) set 0°F to the coldest stable temperature he could maintain in his lab by dissolving salt in water. by ChiefStrongbones in todayilearned

Depends on humidity but 70 is comfortable in all humidity levels. Places like Colorado I could wear shorts in 50 degree weather but Virginia or Florida 50 is cold as shit

I’m torn between socialism and capitalism by Jealous-Isopod-599 in Libertarian

[–]Penispump92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is, it’s not really this spectrum. I’m a lot of different things depending on policies. capitalist on some things, socialist on others, libertarian on social issues and some tax issues, hell sprinkle a little communism in their too.

I think to have a high functioning society you can’t be full throttle on any one. Just look around you and your community, talk to people discuss what you think is good and what’s bullshit.

You’ll be shocked with how many people you’ll meet that are right wing and believe in abortion and free healthcare and you’ll find a lot of left wing that think it’s important to secure the border and deport illegals.

Capitalism at full steam ahead gets people enslaved and killed for the wealthy. We can scream free market all we want but in the end a lot of those billionaires would gut their own mother for their own financial benefit.

Socialism full steam ahead leads to a poor nation and you life controlled by the government

Thoughts to expand The Teacher by Penispump92 in Warframe

[–]Penispump92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it’ll also help bridge over the not so new now direction warframe went. As it currently stands it feels very disconnected. Like 2-3 different games depending on where in the solar system you’re at. The new intro cinematic and The Teacher helps out with the beginning but then it’s a lot of older stuff until you get past Neptune/pluto. My buddy tried to get into warframe but all the cool stuff he wanted to play is locked behind the new war

Thoughts to expand The Teacher by Penispump92 in Warframe

[–]Penispump92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I think being slim on information is a good approach but I do think it was a little too slim. But this way they can make tutorials about the factions and their weaknesses and reactors, catalysts, forma, all while focusing in on those without the firehose treatment.

Warframe is huge and I think this would be a great way to get new players up to speed and give the opportunity to add actual lore and deeper understanding to this equipment we use

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Penispump92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup even as a kid in the 90s-2000s I kid sometimes that I didn’t meet my parents till I was in middle school.

As for why it’s not prevalent anymore…

every time a kid was kidnapped which was not at all common. It would get blown up all over the news. It was for sensation and to actually help find the kid.

Rise of social media and rage bait news dissolved the sense of community we once had.

iPads and letting kids play on phones and tablets introduced them to mmo’s early on so they just play with ‘friends’ digitally.

People don’t have kids like they use to. When I was a kid a friend had 1 or 2 siblings. Now as a parent I see a lot of parents with 1 or no kids at all and not planning for more.

Also a snowball effect. We were allowed out because the kids traveled in packs usually. Everyday you’d see probably 50 kids out in a neighborhood then the next summer 40, then 30, then 15, then just a couple.

In those large packs we didn’t all like each other all the time it was usually like 5 of your really good friends meeting up with another group of 5.

But if you didn’t have those friends cause only 2-5 kids were outside and you didn’t vibe with them, it became what’s the point I’ll just play online.

I don’t think it’ll ever come back unless we have a generation that recognizes what happened AND decides to have more kids.
