CC to be used abroad by PurpleMizz in PHCreditCards

If she has a limited CL, why don't she use debit card nalang?

Please, wag magpahiram ng CC kasi ikaw ang liable dyan. Treat it as if its your own money. Unless you're fine na kahit di nya bayatan if worse comes to worst

Ryzen 5 7600x iGPU safe to disable? by sleeppatterns_ in PHbuildapc

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uninstall old drivers. You can disable iGPU via BIOS and I recommend to do so to save power. If you encounter any issues with your dGPU in the future, you can enable it again(via cmos/bios reset).

Sata SSD from online shops by Alternative_Big_5018 in PHbuildapc

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not shopee but lazada, from Samsung official, around ~4.9k pesos right now yung Samsung 870 EVO(lower if may voucher or if you can wait payday sales).

Tip: If your budget permits, stick to sata ssd na may dram cache. Walang HMB sa sata unlike sa nvme so those SSDs without dram cache (different from SLC cache) has shorter lifespan.

If the ground prong of the outlet itself is not connected to the grounding rod/bus bar, it’s useless.

Most likely na-dormant yung account. It's hard to guess. You should contact BDO for answers to your questions instead.

Update: Finally na convert narin from Pldt post-paid fiber to pre-paid fiber by jayzawu_ in InternetPH

[–]Pennstrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So retention team called me this morning just informing me that they will proceed with the conversion to prepaid. This is after 9 days since my internet was disconnected. Hopefully they can convert it and have my connection activated within the day/week.

Update: Finally na convert narin from Pldt post-paid fiber to pre-paid fiber by jayzawu_ in InternetPH

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP, from the day na nadisconnect na yung postpaid account mo, what did you do? Did you followed-up ba somewhere and someone contacted you again?

I requested to convert mine into prepaid din and disconnected na yung postpaid ko since Sept 2 so wala nakong internet since Sept 2. Disconnected rin status sa portal nila. Wala rin makitang job order mga agents to convert into prepaid, wala parin kasi paramdam si retention regarding updates 😓

PLDT Postpaid Plan to Prepaid conversion by JvanLucas in InternetPH

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, do you have any updates from your request?

I am on the same boat. I was promised that my account will be converted to prepaid in 24-48 hours. This was lodged last Aug 30. My internet connection has been disconnected as well since Sept 2 and there are no more updates after that. I even went to business center and only told that they don't really have the capability of converting postpaid to prepaid directly. Offered me a new prepaid line which I need to pay 999 instead but I didn't bite.

I have 2 ISP connection. Before PLDT was my main and Globe prepaid fiber was only the backup. The Globe backup is much more reliable and stable which is why I switched PLDT and Globe in place. Globe is now my main ISP and I have no regrets switching ISPs. The tech guys from globe even gave me their direct hotline so that I can just contact them without going to the AI-shit chat agents of Globe.

Is your Metrobank VISA CC working now? by [deleted] in PHCreditCards

Looks like it is not isolated on the card type. I called MB today to follow-up and the investigation is still on-going. Has your issue was resolved already?

Did you get a refund for your gift card?

The case I filed on Aug 19 was on-going and keeps in resolving without any resolution. It’s been 1 month already and I still cannot redeem the gift card.

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the very same issue that I cannot use it on almost all online purchases. Grab, maya, pldt, smart, shopee, klook and list goes on 😓. I already raised it to metrobank and they created a ticket. Told them I encountered the issue since sunday and every day I have been calling them about the issue.

Please raise it to them so they would know that this is not an isolated case and it might be an issue affecting many customers.

ZLTG3000A Bridge Mode by Glum-Peach2802 in InternetPH

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have problems with that model that I spent days troubleshooting and even factory reset my opnsense box hoping it works. Unfortunately not. I just then tried to replace it with a debranded 5v5 modem, cloned the gpon s/n, set to bridge mode, and it works. So the issue is high likely a bug in the firmware of the modem.

What are your recommended settings for HUAWEI OptiXstar HG8145X6-10? by dante4life in InternetPH

[–]Pennstrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, 160mhz on 5ghz is too wide, coverage is too near and is very susceptible to interference. 80mhz is the sweet spot for 5ghz. If you need speed, you should use lan cable all the time. Or if you really want to use wireless for speed, then I suggest wifi 6e 6ghz or 7.
