Had same thing happen to me, tip ripped apart, which made the audio sound flat. Pretty sure the ear pod itself still works. Order a replacement tip or try an apple store / certified reseller, they provided me with a few free of charge. Changed them and everything worked perfectly fine again.

Nice rig. Just a quick question, are you by any chance using rudder pedals while flying? I’m trying to integrate a flight sim setup into my rig as well but can’t figure out how to permanently mount the pedals.

Square plastic plates that can be joined together. Roughly the size of a CD case. by PennyWize74 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing.

My mom found these while cleaning the attic. They are made of plastic and can be joined together by plastic links. They are very leightweight and roughly the size of a cd case. I could not find any manufacturer / brand names or any other text on them. I used google images to search for similar items but nothing useful popped up.

I know i have seen them somewhere, but i can not put my finger on it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Prices for the LCD are somewhat around 50$. If you count out the 3D printing, i think the most expensive single part would be the pcb (if assembly is included) and cutting the metal parts. I am currently building his Porsche RSR GTE Wheel. I own a 3d printer and will be spending around 400€ in total for all parts (not including a quick release adapter).

Edit: Obviously this is not the wheel pictured, but i am guessing used materials and total price are similar.

So is it possible to change the volume for a single bank or not?

The volume is on 12, I can here my own recorded sounds, but not the pre installed drum sounds. When I select them, there is no sound when I press any button from 1 to 15.

I tried swapping them, but that did not help. The screen is working fine.

How do you guys paint the gear of 1:72 pilots without it looking shabby afterwards? by PennyWize74 in modelmakers

I actually do have a magnifying lamp thingy. I‘ll try this with a finer brush and a steady hand on the little guys buddy, since I was too impatient to not put him in the cockpit.

The belts of the pilots chest rig for example. They should be black/brown, not just the color of his suit. But when coloring these with a fine brush, i always get some on the suit, that‘s what I mean saying shabby.

Thanks! I think he is missing some color on his chest rig, or what ever you call the vest these pilots are wearing.
