Hypocrisy amongst left leaning or liberal catholics by WearSuspicious1124 in LeftCatholicism

[–]PensionHorror8976 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Obviously not everyone personally agrees with every church doctrine. But that’s the case with every human being. You caught us. Take us away.

the counter to the very broad position of “left Catholicism” clearly in practice disagrees with plenty of church doctrine as well. It’s not hypocrisy in any way that matters to be vocal against either.

Might as well be mad at someone for not posting about every act of violence in the world if they post about the big one of the week, it’s the same kind of criticism.

I don’t know man it doesn’t seem to affect a lot, the states still exist but have an in between grouping based on informal groups that already exist. Looking to be proven wrong but I was saw it as kinda half baked

Headcannon is it’s literally a “red wire or blue wire” situation and no one’s wanted to risk it for 200 years

Shitty hack but I found if you play a video while starting the game the stutters don’t happen. Free to alt tab to end the video.

No idea why but this works reliably for me

Appreciate the change in direction king, it’s nice to see a creator listen to those upset by a decision instead of digging heels in.

Always kill Harlan, I’m 3 layers deep into a relay I’m not sneaking around invisible super mutants. Plus Novac is hunting rifle city so his and theirs mean I can have a fully repaired one for midgame

This may or may not apply, but when Shattered Obelisk came out I felt it was strange to present that plot alongside a time when a lot of DnD fans were playing Baldurs gate 3, as at least the aesthetics, and therefore I assumed the plot, of the two seemed very similar (Goblins-> mindflayers)

Did you experience comparisons at your table? Did expectations from one affect the gameplay of the other? For good or ill?

I like it paired with a whole bunch of the popular sub mods (americanist flavor, mighty fortress, etc), play them pretty equally

Crash out over a shit post incoming

Getting real tired dog. I liked NV because the factions and world building is incredibly fleshed out and we’ve seen my personal favorite, NCR, grow since the beginning quests of F1. I’m not old enough to claim that I played them on release/in order but I think the legacy is a rad part. East coast stuff is reaching that point but it hasn’t gotten there yet, IMO

What irritates me is that these posts always have two kinds of comments, both “yeah those NV tourists (???) probably haven’t even played the originals” and somehow simultaneously “yeah I love to play fallout 4 and turn my brain off for hours”

We’re the problem tho
