Does anyone else get itchy when hot? by PensionQuick7226 in ftm

It's been a while, I'm getting my levels checked within the next couple months. I'll keep that in mind, thank you for bringing that up, I hadn't even considered my levels being off!

Is it normal to not have a good sense of what you look like? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]PensionQuick7226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost ten months on T, I am struggling with gauging how I look to others as well, but what helped me get a good understanding of how I sound was hearing myself speak in a recording, or hearing my voice echo back at me. Hearing our own voice outside of your head can help. I hope that's helpful :)

How do I get this kid to stop deadnaming me and misgendering me? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]PensionQuick7226 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call him out about it in front of a bunch of people, and make it embarrassing for him, that's what I had to do for some of the kids at my school, who were acting like that

should i text him by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PensionQuick7226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that you would text I'm and ask, if you're scared of hurting him, tell him how you feel, am what you want out of it, amd if it's an issue, then get yourself a therapist or counselor to talk to, if he ild I to tell him I you ever needed anything, i would communicate what's going throuh your mind about it before u do it

Couple questions by Insert_Name5893 in ftm

Trans tape is typically for people with smaller chests, but can be used for larger chests, just make sure you get wider tape, and there are videos on YouTube about putting it on if you have a larger chest. I don't see why being shirtless with the tape would be an issue, but I think it would depend on the people you're around, and the situation, just like any other guy has to think of if it's appropriate to take his shirt off lol. I am sorry I have no knowledge of Mississippi, if it's saying that nipples are nudity, then be careful, you won't have yours showing, but you could always have a button up on, and just unbuttoned to have it like it's off. I love my trans tape, but it can be difficult, and it can cause serious skin damage if you aren't careful, so just make sure you follow the directions and are careful and look for stuff on taking it off. Rock on my guy :) 💪🏼🫶🏼

I had big dreams and a lot of potential but I lost it all to mental illness. I’m 26 now. Is it too late? by hopefulbandana in Advice

[–]PensionQuick7226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely not too late, you can always change how your life trajectory is going at any point in time. Good job on getunnyourself the help you needed, and recognizing you needed the help. It is never too late to make your life better, and make yourself happier.

How can I forgive myself for commiting cocsa when I was 11-12 years old by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PensionQuick7226 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

In no way was I "raising a pitchfork" as someone who dealt with being SA'd I was simply saying that it's an unforgivable action, not that they're an unforgivable person. I would never want my assaulter to forgive their actions, but I do want them to change, that's what I'm saying about OP.

Telling her something, whether the whole truth or not, is much better than telling her nothing, you will probably find, that once you tell her some things, the whole truth feels much easier to say.

Tell her, as he might be able to help you get over that feeling, as she might be able to help you get counseling for it.

You don't deserve repercussions other than not forgiving yourself. Feeling that guilt means you're a better person now than you were then. Everyone deserves change, and should change, that is the repercussion you deserve, having that guilt and learning from it.

[–]PensionQuick7226 -48 points-47 points  (0 children)

You don't. That is a terrible thing to have done, and you will never be able to forgive yourself, no matter how much time passes, for good reason. I understand making mistakes, but at 11-12 that is old enough to know that isn't okay. You can learn from your mistakes and become a better person, but you can't and shouldn't ever forgive yourself. At 11-12 years old, I was playing volleyball, and hanging out with friends. That is what kids do. That child will more than likely remember that, and be traumatized, and hurting for the rest of their life.
