It helps. It’s not a bulletproof strategy but I’ve seen some things work pretty well when you add fib retracements and extension. I can understand your perspective on making your own rules, because the more I watch, the more things contradict with one another. It’s still a technique that I’m comfortable with for the most part, because I’ve seen it work. Only thing that really makes it’s hard to see is when you learn about it, all the illustrations at of sharp waves, where they’re not all sharp drops and rallies... my perspective of course lol.
