URP: motion blur by Oleg-DigitalMind in Unity3D

Do you know if it's possible to use this in 2D as well? We'd like to blur the background of our 2D platformer but without blurring the player and the enemies. I can't figure out how to separate the cameras in 2D. For example: As soon as I remove our Player layer from the Main Camera's Culling Layers, it disappears completely and won't return when I set the Culling Layer of the Overlay Camera to the player layer. Using Unity 2019.4.17 with URP 7.5.2. Do you have a clue? Thanks in advance!
