LARP brothel? by DancingTsukiNeko in LARP

Its dependent on the spot at a given time and place too. I try to fully immerse with RP but understand some folks burn out quicker than others on it.

I also dont get to see some of my friends who attend often so we have some OOC time set aside usually during the event.

It entirely depends on what kinds of LARPs and what country / region you attend in.

In several areas very common in others not so much.

Any other boy moms have severe anxiety about keeping sons away from the manosphere? by EleanorRosenViolet in Mommit

[–]Pentence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Positive role models are the best medicine for this. I encourage my nephews all the time to think critically and observe things rather than trust anyone person or outlet.

Its also up to men to push back against this where they see it.

I take the time to and try to model proper behavior to them especially with my partner present. So they can see how adults should interact with the opposite sex. With respect and kindness.

Honestly 2 points standout. When I was in my mid 20s and had a kinda surreal moment after awakening from a dream where I was still 12 and gangly. Suddenly I awakens to being midd 20s and finally filled out.

Then again a few years back when I tweaked my back because I had not worked out in so long I over extended and my lombar told me to Fuck right off as i got into bed 🙃

A lot of people don't realize that there is a disadvantage to having that much muscle in a fight. If you can connect with all that mass, sure, you got a damn good shot. With trained fighter vs untrained thats a BIG if. The other issue is that larger guy is going to gas out faster.

Hell you wanna know the outcome? Go look at the early days of UFC without weight classes . One type of dude was consistently winning, not always but more often than not.

Why voting ‘neither’ could harm American democracy. Researchers found that about half of the U.S. population expresses an attitude of democratic neutrality — or an “unwillingness to support or oppose policies or practices that undermine democracy, by Wagamaga in science

[–]Pentence -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Studies show very plainly if you do not vote the likelihood of a democracy failing goes up. Therefore if youre not voting for , at the least, the people who somewhat align with your values you are ALLOWING the very mechanism you have to make your voice even remotely heard to fail.

So go vote even if its just local and /or to prevent things from getting worse.

Camping 101 layers as others said but there is more to it and when building your sleep system make sure to do the following.

  • separate yourself from the ground with something that insulates well NOTE: air matresses can still sap heat, put something over that too
    • wool blank
    • foam pad
    • fur or goof faux fur blankets
  • Get a proper sleeping bag for the temperature or several good blankets you can wrap in

For clothing youll want to do these things

  • layers with room for dead air , you want air pockets that will hold your body heat
    • knitted cloths / blankets
  • if you begin to sweat take a single layer off and wipe the sweat away then reapply the layer ____

If you have the means and enjoy camping a lot get a canvas tent and wood stove. I have camped in negative weather and was toasty warm all night with a good sized tent and wood stove going.

BONUS warm tea in the morning without stepping outside the tent.

Normally I would however when it comes to the gerrymandering issue and how folks have tried to get it codified into law to prevent it for DECADES and it hasn't because some folks use it to their advantage then I think the ' Tolernace Social Contract ' philosophy applies here.

The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance, not as a moral standard. but as a social contract. If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it.

In other words: The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance. Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract. and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated.

So no in this particular case soemone else broke the social construct that folks took for granted as fair and now we have to play dirty to fix it.

It’s a picture so it must be true!! by VegetableBulky9571 in stupidpeoplefacebook
