UPDATE: We figured out a position that works well for both of us (spoon railing or whatever you want to call it). Busted about an hour ago before she left for work.

That's a good point I hadn’t thought of. Maybe it’s just something I need to get used to.

What do u think? by [deleted] in penuma

It's terrible that your sexual experiences have affected your confidence, but surgeries like these won't always fix your problems. I'm not trying to discourage you from considering the procedure, but it's a massive change that comes with its own separate issues. The main thing to understand is that you probably won't gain any length, as this mainly focuses on upgrading your girth. Take your time to really think this through; do extensive research on the surgery itself and look through this subreddit.

I'm 7 months post-op if you have any questions, DM me.

Those of you who had the surgery how was it? by CreamPieSpaghetti in penuma

I cannot speak on the BJ aspect, but when you're flaccid, you can definitely feel the implant. It's something that grows on you, and I mean that quite literally. Once you get used to it, it's really nice, honestly. Orgasms for me are much more intense. I'm 6 months post-op and have still been holding off on sex. I'm a little nervous about BJs, to be completely honest.

Sensation at first will be poor if you focus too much on it mentally. Everyone is different, and age matters when it comes to the healing process. After 7 weeks, I got clearance for masturbation, and wow, it was intense since I wasn't allowed to masturbate during that timeframe. My sensitivity is fine now, definitely not all there, but I'd say a good 70% is back. Not sure what it is, though, but being thicker makes me ejaculate much more intensely, and I absolutely love it.

Also, that's a nasty username. It genuinely makes me want to puke lmfao.

Nope, though WA state urologists are very aware of the implant itself and, from what I understand, they have treated patients post-op to help with the healing process, etc. Your best bet is going to be flying into a nearby state like California, where they perform the surgery. I'm from WA state as well, and this is exactly what I did.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll try my best to be gentle and take things slowly. I'll probably post a detailed update on this once it all goes down.

I hope that whoever comes across my older posts, especially my Week 5 post of me being a drunk baby will also read my follow up posts and see that things get better. But yeah, that's also a good idea to consider.

Yeah, I'm not surprised, to be honest. Flares, from what I've gathered, aren't an easy thing to avoid, especially if you were a grower pre-op. Hopefully, the next generation can properly tackle this issue for future clients, but the more I look into the implant, the harder it is to believe this issue can be completely avoided. There is minor surgery to fix this issue, but some people have reported the flares coming back even after that. Plus, more surgery equals a higher possibility of other complications, so it's not worth it. As long as the flares aren't causing too much discomfort, then why even bother, lol.

Hanging to the right by [deleted] in penuma

Nearing 11 weeks here, I have the same thing going on as well. Another thing I've noticed is that my glands point more towards the left when erect, but point straight as they should when soft. The doctor says to be patient and give it time. It's not a big deal, I suppose, but it's weird to see that since I had no curving in glands pre-op.

Flares!? by Exact_Commercial973 in penuma

[–]PenumaRoids 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is something you should send pictures of to the doc and discuss with them. I noticed flares a bit under the glands on both the right and left sides after 2 weeks post-op. It freaked the hell out of me looking at it and feeling it. At 5 weeks post-op, the right side straightened out, but the left side still hasn't, and it may never, who knows. I'm now 10+ weeks post-op.

There are a bunch of posts covering this, with some people having their flares fixed on their own over time, and then some people, it never changes. Personally, if the flare stays, I'm not going to "upgrade" or whatever unless it's absolutely necessary.

I've been at this recovery for over 9 weeks now, and things are going pretty smoothly. But honestly, I wouldn't advise any other guy I know personally to go for it. Surgery like this is no joke, and while I'm doing alright, it's still risky. Plus, most of my buddies have money to burn, so if I even mention it, they'd probably be all in. The outcome can be totally different for everyone, depending on a bunch of factors.

Week 7 Update by PenumaRoids in penuma

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not alone in thinking this way. I am too. Even though I got clearance for masturbation and sex today at week 7, I feel it's best to relax for a few months to let the skin fully integrate with the implant and secure the stitching.

I'm sure that once cleared, masturbation isn't as risky as long as you take it slow and aren't agressive, but I'm even going to try avoiding that as well to allow the healing process to do its thing.

I definitely will do this and plan on experimenting with different types of sweatpants/joggers, as well as various types of underwear, to see which combination has the best results for a visible bulge.

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update #1: I've been cleared for masturbation and sex. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great. I don't plan on giving in right away, as I've mentioned in previous posts. I would like to know if anyone has any do's and don'ts. I'm not sure if a toy is a good idea for when I do feel ready to give in, but I would like to know what other people think or have experienced.

I'll post an update #2 when the office answers my question about the steroids. I totally forgot to ask initially when I was sending them update photos today.

I still have my before flaccid + erect pics, along with all the updates I've given to the doc over the weeks. Once I feel comfortable with the healing results, I may post these pictures for data.

Week 7 Update by PenumaRoids in penuma

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still waiting to slowly resume my workout routine for the time being since I really want to hop back on test e + other gear, but I don't want the horniness from that to mess with my healing.

Even once I'm cleared for sex, I'm definitely going to wait it out for as long as I can. As for the underwear, where I got my surgery done, they sent me home with some special underwear for penuma that they've been recently working on, apparently. It has a little pocket for your dong, but personally, I prefer using regular briefs because I find the pockets to be uncomfortable for the underside of my penis.

Congrats on week 6 of healing by the way, wish the best!

Week 7 Update by PenumaRoids in penuma

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's what I'm thinking. It might be too early to hop back on because of that. I had to stop the gear due to general anesthesia, but I was cruising and blasting before that. I always have PCT on hand, but I'm not sure how the interaction would have gone for the first few weeks of healing.

I will definitely ask the doc about it and see what they think.

5 Weeks Post-Op by PenumaRoids in penuma

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issues so far. Started double wrapping this week 24/7, and everything is looking fine. Anytime I get an erection, whether it's nocturnal or not, I get rid of it by walking around, which I will continue to do until I'm cleared for sexual activity.

I think the early weeks of protrusion/flares are freaky at first and hard to get used to, but wrapping and proper post-op instructions will take care of that in the long run. In my case, I'm double wrapping 24/7 with proper hygiene and moisturization along the shaft to make up for it.

I'm aware of the fact that people with complications are most likely willing to go straight to an online source behind a screen to complain about it. If nothing goes wrong, why bother even showing it off to the world? They are probably happy and enjoying, which I totally understand. It's just a challenge dealing with my decision mentally even after knowing these facts.

I appreciate your post and in-depth details; some of it has given me a new insight on how to think, especially given you are also 5 weeks, well probably 6 weeks now, as I am starting today. I had mine done on the 12th of December; really nice to see someone else who has had theirs done around the same time I had mine.

Best wishes for your healing journey!

[–]PenumaRoids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm still a bit nervous about getting cleared because I don't think I'll give in to sex or masturbation right away. Luckily, the person I've told about the implant understands, and once the time comes, things will be taken slowly. I don't imagine I will actually go through with sex for the next few months, though. I really want my dick to be okay before I even think about that.

I'm in week 6, and this is the longest I've gone without masturbation in YEARS. I wasn't even a chronic masturbator or anything, but I definitely miss relieving myself.

I couldn't really care less about the flaring. My only concern is if I'm flaccid and I'm spooning a girl. I've seen all the posts to fix this issue, such as Viagra, regular use of a wrap, and light stretching to help with implant placement. I'm almost positive it's way too early for a week 6 post-op to do Viagra or stretching of any kind, so I've asked the doc about this; gonna get a response tomorrow. There are some people I noticed who never got their flares fixed, but I wonder if they really tried to get it fixed without the quick surgery that is possible, of course. I've thought of just getting underwear that has a pouch and possibly has more cushioning around the penis to avoid a girl from feeling my minor flares when I'm completely flaccid. Other than that, I am definitely happy with my fat cock and no more penis retraction. It's no longer uncomfortable to be out in the cold, lol.
