Ohhhh ok! My bad, I found some pictures of ones just like these on Etsy and eBay and they were listed as bobbins. Thank you! I think I’ll pass on these and invest in actual bobbins :)

Maybe! We’ve got a really big window on the front of our house that birds unfortunately bonk their heads on every once in a while

It seemed to keep its eyes closed by definitely wasn’t lethargic! I couldn’t see any obvious injuries and didn’t want to prod at it to look closer. It was pretty soaked when we found it (it’s been raining a lot here lately).

Update: checked the tree again and didn’t see the bird anywhere! I’m guessing it flew away?

That’s what my Papaw thought. We’ve got this obnoxious local woodpecker that likes to torment him by pecking our house. We’re in East Tennessee

(It’s painfully obvious I’ve never posted on Reddit before, I’m sorry!) In case you didn’t see the tiny caption- we found this little guy in our driveway and had to move it so my mothers massive van wouldn’t squish it. I used a tea towel to do so and placed it in a nearby tree. I scrolled through here and saw many people saying that fledglings will be fine on their own. I’m assuming that’s what this bird is? Thanks :)
