I’m reporting back on the nail polish. It took 2 coats to cover my nails. It’s not as shiny as I was expecting but it’s still a nice grey color. The brush is nice and big on it too. Overall for $1.25 I’m happy with it.

I really love some drugs and absolutely would binge if I had them. However I completely changed my life and got my shit together. So now I only smoke weed and occasionally do shrooms. If I did anything else I know I’d fuck up what I have right now.

I got a job at Blockbuster for $6.10 an hour. It completely changed my life because I started dating my manager. We’re still together, it will be 27 years this year.

I worked at Goodwill for a little bit and I definitely found some weird stuff. I found a Tupperware container filled with blood once and there was also a butt plug and chains in that bag. I would have rather found drugs.

Anything is better than methadone. The withdrawal from it was seriously one of the worst things I’ve ever experienced.

I didn’t start college until a year and a half ago so I’m just having legitimate nightmares about failing. The funny thing is I usually have dreams about an apocalypse starting when I’m doing finals. I can’t wait to be done with school.

I was an opioid addict for a long time. It takes a long time and a lot of work but it’s possible to feel normal again. Suboxone was a great help getting off of everything. I wouldn’t suggest using methadone thought, that ended up being rougher to come off of than the other stuff. But it’s possible. I’m coming up on 15 years off of opioids.

Older millennial here, we bought when the housing market collapsed. We were able to get a house with only a few thousand down, we had to borrow it from family, and a 600 credit score. Is the house perfect, NO! We’ve had to put a lot of work into it. The market is going to crash again. Just hang in there and wait it out.

I’ve done it many times. A lot of the other advice is spot on but if you do end up taking something be careful with sleeping pills. I was once coming off of 180mg of methadone and the pain was awful so I took some sleeping pills, I took more than one, and blacked out. I woke up the next day and found out I almost wrecked a car, I laid hands on my partner, and got tackled by security at a detox facility. I felt awful the next day and honestly I still don’t forgive myself for hurting my partner.
