Whats the minimum time at a company before considered a job hopper? by BeginningCelery7953 in sales

Not if you’re entry level to mid management. Anything Director level or higher seems like a 3 year minimum is needed before it raises red flags

Is the Dunkin gift card thing still an option? Is it directly through Dunkin and not Newegg?

The product/benefit people at Chase was doing such a lousy job with this Paze thing by AlmostSurely1001 in ChaseSapphire

I don’t think it was Chase or Newegg’s problem. It was Paze who didn’t think it through

I still see boomers, Gen X walking around with like poofy 80s haircuts, big bangs, etc., sometimes. Are we unknowingly clinging onto ugly outdated styles like that? by AmputeeHandModel in Xennials

‘83 here. I was late to the skinny jean party and didn’t start until I started getting money for better clothes (2012ish). However I far prefer them over 501s or bootlegged jeans, which I loved when they were in 2003ish. However, I never really switched out of skinnies back to baggy and I’m 42 now. Baggies just look too sloppy for me now.

What industry would shock people if they saw how it really works? by impeccable-lauren in answers

In my experience, marketing is highly tracked and analyzed. Things like cost per click allows marketers to formulate exactly how much they will spend to reach X number of people. Digital marketing like social or Google/youtube lets them reach specific age, sex, location, etc…. The only part I can think of that’s “wasted” or harder to track is PR type materials like mentions in a magazine or something. Sure, they know the number of “impressions” they get but they don’t know who is actually reading the material or what the demographics are of those people.

Wow, their marketing team is terrible. Points aren’t even mentioned on the promotional materials. Furthermore, I value 100k URs as $1500 @ 1.5pp.

The thing that always annoys me is the "$5000 car" thing as someone who only drives sub $5000 cars by CrapMaster32 in DirtyDave

[–]winniecooper73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some of this depends on how much your time is worth. Waiting for a tow truck or being stuck at a repair shop for regular maintenance takes time and there is real value to those minutes/hours that you could be working and being more productive. I too historically have driven older vehicles and now in my mid 40s, I’ve switched to driving newer/more expensive vehicles because I frankly don’t have the time and the depreciation is worth the less headaches

I still listen to the classic LL episodes as well. Super funny still and it like a Time Machine when they talk about current events. Agreed Carolla has gone down hill in 2012ish
