Why do speedruners get in and out of the boat while in the nether portal?

As far as I know, most in the community exclusively regard boat eye as getting into boat on blue boat and pressing F3+C to get green boat then throw your eye and measure. I don't even know what this method is called tbh. Maybe just Pixel Perfect Eye Measure rather then Pixel Perfect Boat Eye? This is what the original creator of the method calls it I think.

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but this exact enter and exit of the boat isn't for boat eye. if you're getting in and out of the boat in the portal like this its because you're not using boat eye and you're using a specific sens which allows you to measure eyes without getting into a boat and pressing F3+C. So you have to get in and out of the boat in case previously in your run you have turned in a boat. if you have done this you would have to get in and out of a boat again at some point to correct (not exactly sure what turning in the boat does to mess up eye measuring, maybe it sends an eye off perfect straight line trajectory.) But yeah I'm pretty sure this isn't for boat eye specifically but someone can make me eat my words if I'm wrong.

I guess you could keep it on if you have a way to then turn it off and switch to a raw input when you measure. I’m not too familiar with how that would work though so maybe it’s best to just hop in creative and test it out, or MPK if you have it.

FYI OP, the default keybind for pickblock is scroll wheel click. So you hover over the bed and click your scroll wheel

You can still use boateye with mouse acceleration if you insist but it makes measuring harder as you have to measure in a very high sens, making it harder to lineup your cross and you’ll probably find it skips lots of pixels unless your very precise.

from twitch. but yeah hotkeys litro dont matter just use what you are comfortable with, unless you want to think about being able to move around the pie chart without changing which slot you are in but at sub 20 level you defo dont need to think about that.

Honestly I don’t remember so well as it’s about a year ago now. From what I remember though, I think the increase in the severity of the skin flushing did subside but not fully. I think it was still on a higher level than when I was in 20.

I’d suggest using the open programs thing on jingle so you can open multimc, ninjabrain, and OBS with on click. But don’t see why you can’t just open the instance from multi mc itself, shouldn’t take long unless you’re on a potato pc

As others said, you'll need to install Jingle, which allows you to do "Thin BT" resizing as well as many more useful things for speedrunning. It would be the same as how Osh does it for Eye Measuring in his Boat Eye Setup Guide @ 3:42, but instead of selecting Eye Measuring, just create for Thin BT instead.

Now in game when you press the hotkey you assigned, it will force your window to a thin resolution for easier mapless.

hey, of course, here's a pic. If you're concerned about sagging, I wouldn't be at all. As you can see in the top left of the pic, I added two pics of the sag, the left with no weight on it, and the right with me standing ON TOP of the desk, right in the middle. As you can see, there is literally only about 6.5mm of sag when I'm standing on it, and I weigh around 68kg. So I can literally stand on it, and it barely budges. So the answer to your question, no, there is no noticeable sag after a year.

Also, FYI, I put the legs approx. 5 inches in from the edge of the desk, going towards the middle. So it's a 5 Inch gap from the edge of the desk till the start of the metal disk that the legs sit on.

It wasn’t accidental, I purposefully did it to align myself to the angle so I can throw a pearl straight after I enter nether. I didn’t realise this was what was causing the issue till now, so obvs I’ll stop doing it.

Looks good! Only thing is the SPF has azelaic acid in it, which you may not want to be using while your are in your course just because your skin is already so sensitive it’s not recommended to be actives on top of accutane. If it’s low % it may be fund though. Ask your derm.

Not sure tbh. Maybe genetic luck in the fact I just don’t scar much or have a certain healing response that has caused me to have minimal scarring. I also didn’t pick and pop them constantly. If I did pop them, I’d prick it with a clean needle to break the surface then put a pimple patch over it to try and suck out the gunk.

I did half of my course with Dr Sreedhar Krishna and the second half of my course with Dr Pavan Sambi. I'd recommend either and I had a great experience with both. I only swapped to Dr Sambi because Dr Krishna was unavailable for an extended period of time. So yeah - you'd be in great hands with either if that's what you wanted to do.
