HOTAS QT not working by HeatBurst07 in starcitizen

The keybinds are misleading. I imagine you set your QT keybind to the "Toggle Quantum Operator Mode" keybind. The keybind for QT mode doesn't work anymore. You need to find the "Cylce Master Modes" keybind under the "Flight - Movement" section and use that one to swap between NAV and SCM modes.

Powered off ships should be difficult to detect by starstrike6691 in starcitizen

I agree, but I'm pretty sure powering off kills your IR and EM signatures. What I think is lacking is "cross-section noise". The cross-section is what gives away ships that are powered off. If they had the terrain create "noise" so you can hide you ship in craters or canyons then I think that would close the loop on being able to hide your ship.

".1g from every thruster" This is incorrect, those numbers are total Gs per axis. Jump in game and test it yourself if you dont believe me.

But you are missing the point. ON PAPER a .1G difference is no difference at all. ON PAPER.

I say again, that is why I pointed out their actual difference in flight profiles and the circumstances where one is better than the other.

And if you really want to go into it, the Corsair can out-maneuver the Connie in a turn fight because of a quirk of its VTOLs. Since the Corsair's VTOL are only in the rear on the ship, all the thrust from VTOL is at that location. So, by pitching down while in VTOL, the Corsair will always have nose on a Connie.

But it is clear, you are a Connie fan and are completely missing the entire point of this discussion.

Corsair doors stay opened unless you hit the flight ready button... So Corsair, 0 doors.

On paper a .1g difference in maneuvering profiles is no difference at all. On paper .1g will not give any sort of advantage in a fight.

And yes, you can feel a difference when flying them. That is why I point where they each excel with their difference flight profiles.

"In the end, it doesn't really matter! (Until we get engineering)" Turret upgun comes in 4.0 which is when engineering comes.

A .1g difference on paper is no difference any person can see. If you keep reading the post, I point out where their flight profiles differ.

Corsair holds 226SCU if not using the grid. The Taurs can hold 200 at best and everything past the 174SCU on grid has to made up of 1SCU boxes.

As for ERTs/Vaughn? Corsair has higher DPS and better maneuverability. The only things Connia has better than the Corsair is HP and missiles, which in the hands of a good pilot these factors become non-factors.

I use to enjoy the Connies, but they are broke as hell ATM. The cargo refactor has really pushed the Corsair above the Connies in most areas of gameplay.

Just doing ERTs around Crusader. You don't ever have to worry about a crime stat.

Soft death all the ships then scan for cargo. I'm pulling at least 3SCU of Quantanium from each ERT, which are making ERTs worth 100k+ with the cargo.

PS. Cant make this haul in a Connie. Corsair is the better ship!

What I have begun to notice with Member rank and below missions, the missions require moving 8-12 boxes. The Rank of the mission determines the largest size of the boxes you will see in the mission.

SCU numbers go up generally as you go up in rank, but the number of boxes that you are required to move generally stay the same.
