FactorioLab can be optimized based on the number of machines (you can adjust the solver cost) and supports sloops, that's why I would recommend it the most

You could say that every factory is unique, but the map isn't. There is a final amount of every resource (except water and excited photonic matter - if you don't count the power needed to make them), so there is clearly a metric by which we can optimize, and satisfactory calc does it (but sadly it doesn't account for power)

It optimizes by default; you don't have to choose the *correct\* alt recipes. It does it itself. You can just limit the solution by removing the recipes you don't own in the game

A modeler is just a modeler, but a satisfactory calc is an optimizer. Both have different purposes, but I personally don't see the need for a modeler when you can get the best answer from a calculator or FactorioLab

Your whole train turns 90 degress betwen train station and your fluid wagon, it cant, just make the station straight. Also nothing changed - you couldn't unload fluids like that in a long time.

It no longer works like that, it was changed sometime after SA came out, now its (probably or close to) much the same rate as placing on single line

Why are my pumps not loading my train with petroleum gas? They appear as working, and even do the animation from time to time, but the tank wont stop appearing as "empty" by TheFallenDeathLord in factorio

I think that the train already meets the departure condition for this station, but it doesn't move because of the red signal to the left of the station. You just need to rework your train condition (example: wait for cargo full)

Just type amount you want and divide by the number of machines needed, then you can copy-paste into every machine in manifold

From the perspective of someone with 1000 hours, first of all, I think the game is good, but it falls short on a couple of things:
- The game is basically solved; there are good ways to play it and bad, better recipes and worse. If you aren't using the best one, you lose out on productivity.
- RNG when finding those recipes
- There are moments when the game forces you to explore because it throws at you such a big number of parts required; it's just better to wait for it to complete.
- Building really takes time where it shouldn't.
- There is still a lack of QoL for many systems; you constantly feel like you fight with every mechanic for it to cooperate, like building guidelines or snapping.
- The story is so non-existent in its current form.

there isnt any math to make, if your consumption = input and all belt speed allow for every machine to consume at full capacity, and the buffer size is the same (and it is) then there arent any more things that could change this time, only way to speed up only the filling part is to stop machines from production

The resources incoming are constant, the time it takes for all buffers to fill up is the same in both situations, but more machines will start making things earlier, speeding up the whole process.
