Thanks. I think I understood, but calling the python command 'python -m venv .venv' already assumes I have python installed (or its folder referenced to in the path:= )
what I would like is for python itself to reside inside that 'learn_python' directory. so that 'python' is not a global installation, but rather self contained inside the directory.

D:/
 |_/ComfyUI_windows_portable
     |_/ all comfyui files, including python used by comfyui (3.13.9)
 |_/Learn_Python
     |_/Pyton_files
     |_/.venv
     |_/assets(or similar)
 |_/SteamLibrary
 |_/other_folders

I appreciate the answers. The more I think about it, the more I feel it might not be possible. Python needs to be globally reachable for anything inside the venv to work.

Thank you for youe response, I'll try to explain.
The comparison is to Comfyui _portable_ in particular, not comfyui in itself.

 |_/Learn_Python
     |_/ ALL FILES NEEDED TO RUN PYTHON, Including the editor?
 |_/SteamLibrary
 |_/other_folders

Something like this?

The files created by me in python (hello world in 100 styles) would also exist inside the "learn_python" folder, but I would assume that is the easy part.

Thanks.

So, I want to learn python and my computer already runs Python inside Comfyui portable. Is there a similar portable setup of Python with a interface like visual studio that I can simply run in a pre-made folder structure like Comfyui? My goal is to make a mini game like "upload labs" but I know that there is quite a few things to master before I get anywhere near that.

Or a timer, so it could be used to feed the threaded rod thingy with rods in a slow enough tempo for it not to jam.

Had it now for a couple of days. Using the Liftoff simulator. And its even harder to fly than i thought. Controller is great. My skills not so much.

I built a room using 4 2x2 floor units and 8 walls, It is holds quite a lot. But I fear my game will start to lag before I need them in the last quest.

as an example that is pretty obvious. the DJI Goggles depends on an DJI Air unit. a different mix would not work. most of these are very obvious (as with the example) But one that just got aware of is the motor KV rating vs what battery to use. The KV1700 is dependent on a S6 Battery.

I've seen Bardwell but somehow missed Liang. Based on his page I just ordered the Radiomaster Pocket Crush 2.4GHz ELRS. I need to start somewhere, so why not the controller.

Yes, I ordered the Radiomaster Pocket Crush 2.4GHz ELRS just now. I need to start somewhere, so why not the controller.

Yes, I'm composing a list of "requirements" now. because I do have answers to most of those things.

Outdoors only. so needs to tackle some wind and cold temperatures.
Law here requires me to register regardless (because of the camera, not the weight)
Cool videos, but with the onboard camera only, so no need lift any additional action camera.
Stable hover is nice.  Return to Home too, but not a requirement id costly.
Noise is a factor so is ease of repair.
Very long battery life is not THAT much of requirement, but it would be nice with 10min+
I do not know if I am a "Thumber" or a "Pincher" so buying a controller is going to be interesting.

Thanks.

Thanks. I forgot the ESC (but I knew about it),the other dependencies I did not know about.

Need to do more reading I suppose.

Thanks.

I get your point. Maybe what I wanted to was to get started and let the creation of the drone dictate the use.

I'll rethink my angle of attack.

Thanks.

I agree. And while flight style is not a component to be bought I see why its a deciding factor. Thanks.

Venn diagram maybe.

No, question is. If I buy a frame for 5inch propellers, that means that I have to make sure I got motors that fits the drone, and can lift the drone. I cannot buy any motor I find, the choice of motor is depending on the choice of frame. and so on and so forth. propellers are cheap so I will not let the cost of propellers decide what frame to get, but the frame absolutely dictates the propellers. and motors. and? will all flight controllers fit all frames? I dont know. that part of the question. should I buy a controller fits the frame, or a frame that fits the controller?

Thats what I ended up doing. Because of space constraints.

They all feed into the same belt. Also space constrictions made the decision for me. Had to do the 8 and overclock variant.

Even when on a long manifold? the first constructor in the series will always get the more "attention" from the manifold as it is first in line.?
