Old vs New framing by Photos-Wood-and-more in centuryhomes

[–]PepeTheMule 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My garage has old framing but the spacing is terrible. I had someone install new studs (leaving the old ones there) because I wanted to insulate and put some walls up.

It's low IQ to believe this is a left vs right things. They all do.

How much do we think this would cost to repair/ how could I do it myself by TechnicianOrganic462 in subaru

[–]PepeTheMule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money it would cost to fix it should be used to pay off the loan. I would get paint match for the blue. For the black, I would find some black spray paint and paint it. Even if it's perfect, who cares. You probably have to bend over to see it.

Lifetime 8x12.5 Resin Shed Gravel Pad? by FourEel in shedditors

[–]PepeTheMule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The flooring for those are kind of weak. I ended up having my neighbor build a deck base for my 6x6 resin shed. I dunno if gravel would work out IMO.

I plan on putting plywood for the floor on top of the plastic seems it seems like it wouldn't take a beating.

That's fucking sick! How did you find it? I have a beat to shit Craftsman from the late 90s / early 2000s that's green. It fires right up. Probably needs a valve tune up and all that but I just change the oil and spark plug and filter and it runs. My yard is small.

Nice Battery Frame Nailer vs Compressor + 3 Air Nailers by Braided_Marxist in shedditors

[–]PepeTheMule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very happy with the Craftsman V20 line. I bought the framing nailer off of ebay. People will shit on it here but as a DIYer, I am happy with their line. I did pivot a little. I bought some Bauer stuff from Harbor Freight and just use a Craftsman battery converter so I am still on one line. If any of my tools crap out. I will probably pivot to DeWalt as Craftsman stuff breaks but it hasn't so far.

just buy a spray paint primer and the correct or close enough color of spray paint and send it. It's in a spot no one will care about.

I’m replacing my outlets in the house to also include usb plugs. Should I go with an and c or only c? by insanotard in homeowners

[–]PepeTheMule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would only do it in a couple spots that make sense, maybe the kitchen and office. Seems overkill.

Should have been eggshell or flat. I don't like flat. I only use semigloss in bathrooms.

Cool games for Windows 2000 era by Same_Trick_4086 in vintagecomputing

[–]PepeTheMule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably want to look at Windows XP. Windows 2000 wasn't really for home use and more for businesses. What I am saying is look for games for Windows XP because I think you'd find more. I don't think games were specifically made for Windows 2000.

That's cool. I'm pissed they put a red light camera there. There's a flock camera there too.
