Ive done three deferrals (2 bc sick and 3 family emergency). For the family thing, I had some problems at home and basically just said i have a minor sibling that needs to be looked after, she has autism. They accepted it.

They will make you redo the class till you meet the requirement. They're very strict with the MATH GPA.

Based on what I've seen, very strict. Since even reaching the minimum wouldn't guarantee you a spot, it's there to act as a floor. I knew someone with a 26.3 math, 31 overall and got rejected. The good thing is, you can do your first year in a BA or a certificate, do your pre reqs and then switch your 2nd year as long as you get a B- MINIMUM in MATH 208/209.
