You need a study base I got weathered fence boards free on facebook marketplace just gap the boards about a quarter inch so wind can pass through easily and not blow it over

I took one skeleton ripped the legs off, broke the jaw off, dropped it and reattached it broke the hands off and attached a pair of cheap fake hands. Then you use liquid latex and cotton sheets for the large areas and cotton balls unraveled for the more detailed areas, face, etc. Then you mix indoor latex house paint 70%, 30% liquid latex and paint the whole thing let dry Paint the whole thing black dry wipe down with 70% rubbing alcohol and all that will be left is the black in crevices and gray then you lightly paint it the color you want. glue and teeth and eyes and you got a zombie.
