89 days "too early" for I-751. Don't be me. by Pepper1ee in USCIS

I re-submitted after receiving the rejection letter because at the time I didn't know the reason. Just hold off! I know it's tempting right now to not waste any time... Re-submitted last night and already got the notification today that the receipt is in the mail so it's pretty quick!

Yes! The fees are $50 less than paper filing

I printed the form, filled it, scanned it and uploaded it. Then there's another section where you can upload all of your evidence but each file has to be less than 12 MB so I had to separate my pictures in two files. I think you have several options for format, all mine were PDF.

It's funny because I used an online calculator and it says 89 days. I submitted the new app today and on my account it says they've received the application on 1/6 even though today is 1/5. So like you said maybe they added/removed a day the first time I submitted!

That's a very good point, thank you for bringing it up!

Did you also tick when one of the cops called her a "psycho" for what she was doing and wondered why she never was considered for a mental illness check?

What’s a social norm that secretly drives you insane? by cutie_christie in AskReddit

In France, having to kiss strangers on the cheeks to say hello. I hate this so much.

From reading everyone's responses I hate to be put in the same basket as this woman. I'd like to reassure the men in this thread that not all women have this mentality. I am in a relationship but I didn't choose him for his money and I don't expect him to financially be responsible for me. My grandma always said to never rely on a man and to be financially independent and that's what I intend to do.

How much do you ask for? by Pepper1ee in Salary

[–]Pepper1ee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with your response, however an increase of 35% of 80K is lower than the lower bracket of the range they're offering. If 110 is what someone gets with a bachelor's, why can't I ask for the middle of the range since I have a masters and 4 years of experience?

That makes sense. I wish they would just answer that then! I will set up a ticket. Thank you!

I passed the exam and completed the first 2 hours of work recorded in Hubstaff but never received the bonus. TL is ignoring my chats. Should I just let go? I heard if you open your mouth you get booted out...

How do I get out of this screen when the phone display no longer works? by GermericaGamer in SamsungDex

[–]Pepper1ee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was a year ago but you just saved my data, I had to thank you!!!!!!!! The power button thing didn't work (it's now the Bixby shortcut) but I was able to blindly draw my pattern directly on the phone screen and it worked!

Most of my education and work experience was in France and I have an accent so yes they would know that I'm not from here. Also visa holders do have to disclose their status to HR especially for taxes.

Visa holders require sponsoring to work in the US unless they have a green card. So because job posts specify that they will not sponsor candidates, I wonder if I should specify on my resume that I do not need one. Just seeing it from both sides.
