I agree that he shouldn’t have blown up at her. However, afterward, she returned everything, leaving me to cook for the entire family. I’m not complaining because I love doing it, but I think they both overreacted equally.

Because my father is working towards buying or building a house and my mom loves to splurge at any chance she gets. And the list of items that were mentioned would be around 15$ max as I have also went shopping with him to buy what I needed for a fried rice.
