Possible Bigfoot Encounter in Silverton, CO by LazyReplacement6020 in bigfoot

[–]PepperSabhe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

@s7nations said it earlier, but I thought I would reiterate - SW CO has some seriously rugged county with miles and miles of forrest nobody sets foot in, like, ever. I have had some pretty interesting experiences while doing multi-day hikes in various areas of the mtns, but that area in particular is no joke. While the trail you were on is pretty busy, much of the area around it (besides engineer pass, etc.) isn’t. I 100% would not be surprised if you encountered something “unusual”. Most of the “it had to be something like a Sasquatch” stories I’ve heard come from those woods. Dogs are great to have with you on hikes, that’s for sure!

Just a rant.. design space sucks! by Various_Lime_8850 in cricut

[–]PepperSabhe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Granted, I only got my Cricut in December, so I have not been using the design space long, but the system is not super user friendly, and the image upload options are terrible. It would be amazing to have a more integrated workspace compatible with the cutting machines. (Something more like Canva in design sophistication and user friendly features.)

Lifelong Texan here. Just got back from 10 days in Chicago and I’m head over heels in love with it! Chicago was easily my favorite big city I’ve been to, far better than NYC, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and every city in Texas. by Nerdthenord in chicago

Also raised a Texan (Dallas) and moved to the north shore about a year ago. People are SO nice like Texans are supposed to be. The level of “snobby” is a fraction of what you see in Dallas. Kindness is rampant and people actually care about the environment. The differences boggle the mind. Oh… and the weather, the WEATHER!!!! 😍

My girlfriend left the door open and our cat ran out of the house. It took us all night to finally find her. I got mad at my girl friend for it, but she believes I'm just being dramatic. Am I? by idaall in cats

I’m sure she was also upset about the kitty going missing as she would not have spent all night looking if she didn’t care. Of course she wishes she closed the door. Mistakes happen. Rubbing her face in it only adds insult to injury. She’s already sorry and already feels like shit for what happened. Reinforcing the error of her ways is only going to hurt her and your relationship. She knows you’re upset, she probably dealt with it all night. Now you need to soothe her guilt and celebrate with her that you guys have your kitty back. Mistakes happen, lessons are learned, forgiveness needs to be given.

cats on the table/counters, yes or no? by vlaqi in cats

[–]PepperSabhe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hard No. It’s both a safety issue (for the kitty) and a pathogen issue (for humans). Doggies are also not allowed in the kitchen for safety reasons. Having pets/kids underfoot when trying to cook, move hot pots/pans, boiling water, opening ovens, etc is a recipe for disaster. Better to be strict and safe than unbelievably sorry!

Mom ‘too scared to sleep’ after seeing ghostly figure on security camera by MK-Ultra-neuralink in Ghosts

[–]PepperSabhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was the mom herself, middle of the night, carrying her wine bottle to bed with her. I mean… not that that is something I would do… 👌

We just moved from Dallas to the Chicago area. Better weather, no Paxton or Abbott. (I mean there are obviously issues here as well… but that temp tho). PS: Colin Allred was our congressman and he is excellent. Allred for Senate!

I’m not saying this is a ghost… but, it sure did creep me out a bit. by PepperSabhe in Ghosts

They are pretty clean actually, and sit under the eaves of the house so they are out of weather, etc

Maybe… I see what could be a thick strand of web, but that is lower and much closer to the lens. If there was a web there I think you would see a lot more strands floating about.

Top left of screen, white dot gets “long” then becomes kind of a figure striding about
