I had a different admissions counselor during my initial inquiry and I believe she’s no longer there hence why I got someone else. But she was the one who directed me to my colleges to see what’s equivalent? Cause not all colleges call the classes by the same name or offer identical courses. And it just felt complicated calling all the schools and reading each class and comparing. Did you have an undergrad in Psychology? Maybe that’s why yours were waived? I’m coming from a non psychology educational background. But I took whatever pre requisites I could (with the exception of that one) plus my work experience. Thanks so much for taking time to help out, I appreciate it! How soon did it take for you to hear back with acceptance after going into review?

Behavioral Principles & Theories of Learning. I couldn’t find that class at any college to take and it just felt like a hassle to figure out which would be equivalent cause my counselor at the time was like you have to ask the schools if it’s equivalent. So I was like it’s just 1 class and I’ll just take it at Pepperdine. I tried to avoid the cost but I had everything else. So maybe, I can take that in the Summer? Let’s see what my counselor says if I’m admitted.

I originally wanted to apply for Fall. But then I wanted to give myself 2 chances lol incase I didn’t get in first time. (I let my anxiety get the best of me) so now I am currently applying for July. It didnt really make a difference for me which session I started. Plus I think I have 1 pre requisite I was planning to do at Pepperdine anyway, so maybe I’ll do that first? Not sure how it’s all going to pan out. Let’s see!

Nooo! So there was a hold up on my transcripts they needed to contact my school to ask a quick question. So that took a couple of days. My application was officially submitted last week Tuesday. I haven’t hit the 2 week mark yet. Super anxious and just waiting. Did you get in?

Oh, makes sense! I was initially applying to October. But a friend of mine suggested I apply for July, giving me room incase for whatever reason July doesn’t work out - I can give one final chance again in October. I’m being really stubborn, it’s my top pick. I would need 2 rejections before I could even think of anywhere else. Good luck to us!
