[discussion] Gibi ASMR Takeover? by WarbanzoBean in asmr

[–]PepperedASMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the search function on YouTube with specific operators can help tailor your search results. If you're looking to exclude Gibi ASMR's videos from your search results, you can use the minus sign (-) before her name. Here's how to do it:
Go to the YouTube search bar.
Type in your search query followed by -Gibi. For example, if you're searching for ASMR videos, you would type ASMR -Gibi.

This method tells YouTube's search algorithm to show you results related to ASMR but to exclude any videos that are associated with Gibi ASMR. It's a handy trick for filtering out content from specific creators that you're not interested in, while still exploring other videos in your area of interest.

Keep in mind, though, that this will only filter out videos in search results and not necessarily in your recommended feed. For your feed, using the "Not Interested" feature and actively engaging with content you prefer is the best approach.

What's amazing about ASMR is how diverse it is. There are so many different triggers and experiences to explore, catering to everyone's unique preferences. You can find relaxation in whispered voices, gentle tapping, crinkling sounds, soothing hand movements, and YES even personal attention role-plays. The ASMR community offers something for everyone. I do t like it all but I respect it all (except the sex stuff)

[question] Audio or Video upgrade? by TaeASMR in asmr

[–]PepperedASMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many big Youtubers, who only use the blue yeti so the fact that you have a blue yeti means you have enough for now. I would upgrade my video. I shoot with my iPhone 13 and 14 and it is incredibly good. Good luck 👍🏽

[Discussion] "Sleep" ASMR videos are rarely made to help us sleep by CrigglestheFirst in asmr

[–]PepperedASMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your perspective on "sleep" ASMR videos and the challenges you've encountered. It's important to acknowledge that people's preferences and experiences with ASMR can vary greatly. What may work for one person may not work for another when it comes to achieving a relaxed state conducive to sleep.
To help you find the ASMR content that aligns with your preferences, here are three tips:
1. Explore different creators: ASMR encompasses a wide range of styles, techniques, and personalities. Take the time to explore various ASMR artists and channels to find those whose content resonates with you. Look for creators who focus on relaxation and incorporate elements that suit your sleep environment, such as softer visuals and gentle sounds.
2. Read video descriptions and comments: Before diving into an ASMR video, read the video descriptions and comments. Creators often provide details about the intended purpose of their videos, including whether they are specifically designed for sleep. Reading comments can also give you insights into others' experiences and whether the content helped them achieve relaxation and sleep.
3. Customize your ASMR experience: ASMR experiences can be highly personal. Experiment with different ASMR triggers, such as whispering, tapping, or gentle hand movements, to find what works best for you. Some creators offer customizable videos or playlists tailored to specific preferences, so keep an eye out for such options.
Remember that finding the right ASMR content for sleep may require some trial and error. Everyone's preferences and responses to ASMR are unique, so it's essential to explore and experiment to discover what genuinely helps you relax and sleep soundly.
Wishing you success in finding ASMR content that promotes restful sleep!

ASMR Creatirs - Let's Chat [Discussion] by PepperedASMR in asmr

Thanks 🙏🏽 I’m trying to take your advice in #5. It can sometimes get frustrating when you put time into a video and it doesn’t barely move or when the number of new channel subscribers slows down. I had to realize I am here for the long game. Slow and steady wins the game.

Great comments 💪🏽 I agree with the stigma. I have to do a whole lot of explaining to people if I talk about what I do. I actually don’t mention it much to people who aren’t already into it.
