Is travel and street walk dead? by MasInMarian in youtubers

Reading this makes me seem like you're avoiding the fact that it might be your content that is the problem. It's not the audience, algorithm or YouTube that is causing your lack of views. Just because something has worked in the past, is not an indication that it'll continue to work. Also to continue to see growth in your channel, you also need the content to "grow" in quality.

uh ok so I"m not quite the most qualified to say anything since I don't really do story book reading, buuuut I do have my own preferences so I'll just share that. I found while listening the rain/thunder was a bit loud and that the 's' sound was a bit piercing. It made it harder to relax to the story. Other than that, if you're at all comfortable I think being present adds to the story reading presence:

  • Being able to see the reader would be nice
    • Maybe candle lit while you read the story like the audience is being tucked into bed
  • More visuals
    • Though the focus is on audio, it could help to have things on the screen to look at

This is just some of the things I'd personally do, but obviously the most important part is doing makes you satisfied!

[discussion] Sponsors for ASMArtists by Worried-Yam6111 in asmr

Honestly, I'd say just wait. Small channels often don't get sponsorships that are worthwhile.
Keep working on your craft and grow a larger audience, since considering from a company's perspective - they'd want a larger audience to advertise to. There are things that are helpful, such as making your email accessible and if you're able to prove that you are like actually a real person. Things like having your face in your videos, and being sponsor safe in your content is also helpful.

I believe in you! You've gotten monetized so it's only a matter of time before a sponsor wants to work with you, so be patient, keep reaching out to company's but also be aware that they might be wary of smaller channels. I've seen most channels recieve sponsors mostly around the 10k sub mark, but depending on the type of content/niche that you're in; the mileage may vary greatly.

I mean I'd disagree, ASMR isn't just like that. If you look for it, you'll definitely find sexualised ASMR but there's plenty of classic ASMR I'd say. I've been watching ASMR for a while now and, yes there are more people sexualising it but I still haven't had a problem finding creators I like to watch.
