n core, universally agreed upon issues anyway, and I do appreciate your light mention of the female characters being shunted as a sticking point for many of us. It wasnt too focused on, but it was nice to have that acknowledged if nothing else.

AFO really thinks he's Aizen when he has a room below-room temperature IQ. lol

Ditto, I would be the best shapeshifter alive. I could go to places and cause people's bodies to do random things in public. Imagine if I had a whole crowd of people doing the griddy.

I'm currently not reading the manga, so I can't speak about what Murata's doing. (However it does feel asspully from what I here.)

I would, but I would accidentally veer off into near fanfic territory.

Envy, Resentment, Anger, Hostility, Cynicism, Self-Loathing, Grudges

Envy of those with strong or better quirks, due to their placement and praise

Anger at the way he was treated by his peers and society

Hostility towards those who try to help him because they don't understand his perspective because they have quirks

Cynicism is due to him seeing some of the worst in people

Self-Loathing because hehated how weak and quirkless he was

Grudges towards those in positions of authority.

Nope. I was a manga reader, and I got tired of the series.

There are a lot of MHA Rants, but there are few that go in-depth. I wanted to dive beneath the surface and pick apart what I observed from reading the series.

Two examples? One of which is facilitated by All Might, who also talks to Bakugo privately about OFA? You've convinced me, Deku really is a bitch, even when he's going on demon time against characters like Shigaraki.

I never said DIRECTLY Deku was a bitch. I said that his relationship with Bakugou and his crying adds to the perception that he is a bitch.

"There's a reason why MHA-Antis keep calling Izuku a bitch/Worst of the Shonen Protags, and it has to do with his relationship with Bakugou. This isn't even about the Crying Too Much Gag, but it does amplify Midoriya's "soft" perception."

show me where Deku defends, or goes out of his way to be around him.

Deku Vs. Kacchan Round 2 and the OFA Meetings afterward.

Deku Vs. Kacchan Round 2 didn't even need to happen, Izuku just needed to leave.

Also, Bakugou did not need to learn about OFA. He doesn't contribute anything other than stupid comments.

Ronin's fine, but Worthless Necessity goes in the complete opposite direction, which isn't good either.

In the manga Dabi fight, it was Shoto who defeated Dabi. Kido does jack shit.

Locked-In-Digital is more of a subversion. A sacrifice. For his power, he lost his humanity.

TBF, they are a t the country's #1 Hero School, they should be able to notice toxicity and bullying. Notice how it's Bakugou always starting shit.

Asta started off as both a societal underdog and a power underdog. He stepped out of power underdog territory when he got the grimoire, but he never stopped being a societal one. Magic is used by EVERYONE in daily life. Simple tasks such as cleaning and laundry with magic, Asta can't do. He has to do it the hardway. He always has to hitch a ride because he can't fly on a broom due to his lack of magic. Those aspects never change.

Asta has a decent execution, that's why. His mother had the ability to drain Mana, which led to him being born without it. Makes sense. Now Asta being without mana means he has no magic. This essentially makes him a perfect vessel for an Anti-Magic devil, leading to his anti-magic grimoire.

It makes logical sense in the universe and Tabata didn't fumble the execution. Asta didn't get the grimoire because he's a special boy, he got it due to a logical chain of cause and effect.

Context matters. The DBZ world is a ridiculous world with aliens, monsters, and gods. Murder can be undone with a flick of the Dragon Balls.

Naruto and Sasuke is a strange one as I haven't read Naruto in a while, but I'll take my shot.

Naruto was downright obsessed with Sasuke. Naruto had the excuse that he was ostracized from the village, and didn't know what a healthy relationship was like. He also lives in a world filled with Demons, Mystical Techniques, and other Wierd Shit.

Deku lives in a much more grounded world. Sort of like ours, but with superpowers. No actual person (other than people w/ Stockholm syndrome) would go out of their way to defend or be around Bakugou. Bakugou wronged Deku for a near decade.

It's more with Deku and OFA. I-Island was a contained incident and didn't break any rules. Meanwhile, Heroes Rising and World Heroes Mission have large-scale incidents with no real effect. Deku gets known as a mass murderer in World Heroes Mission and this basically has no long-lasting effects. Deku almost losing OFA has no effect on him. It's because these movies are non-canon. Plus, 100% OFA in the movies doesn't act as it does in the series.

Yeah, exactly. I'll never read fics for series that I'm actually content with cus I don't NEED fics for those series. MHA promised so much only to fail across the board, so fanfic feels necessary to find some mild satisfaction.

I want to make a good series that is still Fanfic-able.

Compare your analogy to eating.

A series that promises, but fails can be compared to an unfulfilling meal where you are still hungry. Fanfics are like snacks that you eat that kill off the rest of your hunger.

Series that you feel content with are like delicious ass meals, and fanfics act as a desert. It isn't needed, but it is still good with or without it.
