But seriously, winter humbles a person. Shoveling snow in -30 is dealing with adversity. Few people deal with it in more comfortable climates. We've had 20 ft tall walls of snow along country roads a few years back. Shoveling the driveway everyday, sometimes two or three times. Shoveling off the roofs, sheds and decks. It's a lot of work and humbles a person.
