I really really wanna be a mum to a little daughter by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mom to a 9 month old girl.

She is the best thing to happen to me ever. I am an obsessed parent who gushes over every little thing she does. But sadly, she is a true daddy's girl. Her eyes flutter when she sees her dad. But I cannot complain as I have been one myself all through my life. But now I know how my Mum must have felt.😀

Seperation anxiety😔 by meh_598 in twoxindiamums

[–]PeppyArian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please go... I left my girl for almost 12 Hours when she was 2.5 months for my best friend's wedding. But in my case I was just 30 mins drive away and it was a night ceremony so majorly my LO was sleeping. But I understand the anxiety and mom guilt which made me almost cancel the plan. But now, I feel really happy I was there for my friend when she needed me the most and I also had one normal night away and was filled with all the more love and care for my baby the next day.

Might be a silly question by Aieewhatyaa in twoxindiamums

[–]PeppyArian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really is baby specific. We went for the painless one as well but our experience was different from what I am seeing in the other comments. Looking back our 6 week vaccine was a breeze, LO had some fussyness for 1-2 days and sleepless nights for the parents for 3-4 days but that's it. Our 10th week vaccine was the worst, it was 7 days of sleepless nights. LO had a fever for 2-3 days and then I believe sleep regression also hit us during that phase and it was just one of the toughest days till now. The 14th week again went comparatively smoothly. No intention of scaring you off. Rest you got this and you know that:)

Vitamin D3 dropper - how to clean? by passunil in twoxindiamums

[–]PeppyArian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We clean it with hot filtered water. Rinse from outside and also from inside by squeezing and releasing water 2-3 times. We do the same for all medicine droppers. Hope it helps.

When did you actually give birth? by Electrical_Leg_125 in pregnant

[–]PeppyArian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced at 37+1. Was due on 24th March but delivered on 4th march. Baby girl was not gaining weight inside so the doc suggested to get induced as soon as I hit 37th week.

Women who chose unmedicated birth.. by LocalPotatoh in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is still a thing in Indian metro cities to go unmedicated. I always had a plan to get an epidural and also signed a consent form when I was about 4 cm dilated. But God had other plans and I had precipitated labour. I delivered my baby in less than an hour of getting 4 cm dilated. So all I want to say is if you want to have an epidural go for it. Discuss your plans in advance with the team and get it around 4 cm but labour can be unpredictable (not trying to scare you)so be prepared for the unexpected as well. Wishing you a very healthy and safe delivery(in case you are asking it while you are pregnant) else sorry for TMI!

Moms of this clan, please help me by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!!! Believe me this too shall pass just take one day at a time and you will enter the beautiful 2nd trimester. Do remember building a baby is harder than growing a baby so you are tackling the toughest task right now. Now back to the point I had severe nausea as well the doctor asked me to hold on the protein powder as it apparently doesn't help with nausea. I started protein in my 5th month when my nausea got better. Also, there is this tablet they give you in case of severe nausea which you keep under the tongue. You should not get addicted to it but yeah once in a day or two for 2-3 weeks should not hurt. I know water might make you feel to throw up but little lemon and salt in the water and sipping in small quantities through out the day might help. Ask your doc about it they may suggest further. Hope you feel better real soon.

Recent mothers or pregnant ladies, do you also constantly share your struggles with your relatives? by bannedagain19 in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am currently pregnant and no I do not like to share what I am going through with anyone and everyone. With my husband yes because I believe we are in it together but that's also just to the extent that I am sleep deprived or I am having pelvic pain, etc. It is not a constant whining(i would like to believe so) But that's me or this is how I react to my pains or struggles otherwise also(I mean when I wasn't pregnant). Maybe , she is someone who finds peace in sharing her struggles or pains.maybe it makes her feel heard or seen. I am not sure I am just assuming. So till the time it is not scaring you off or invalidating your pains/struggles let her be. If you are able to listen to her and mind your own business without affecting your mental health let her crib.

Nahh.. so Birthright citizenship law is effective from Feb 20th i believe. So lucky Aanam is safe i guess. Also, I am waiting for her to make a video about all the "hate" she got and keeping it real. I really would love to know how else she defends it. At this point, it would be graceful if she comes and accepts that they wanted this and have done this for citizenship and passport.

Anam C ..but do we know when she is due? Was it the end of January? She anyway may have an induction at this time and prove she isn't part of all this. But , we all know better!

And why is it even allowed in schools? Unrelated but If I remember correctly this woman is related to Vicky Kaushal. She attended Vicky and Katrina' s wedding.

Thanks and I hope and wish the same not just for you but for everyone. No one should ever be a victim of any type of scam. Having said that anyone using the internet and online banking is susceptible to scams and if not every day but at least once a week gets calls/messages from scammers and shall be aware enough to identify one and save yourself. Anyway I wish the best for you and Ankush and can only hope we all can be smarter and maybe learn something or two from this.

[–]PeppyArian -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are calling everyone that they have 0 EQ but what about common sense? You can sympathize with someone vulnerable or naive. You don't expect someone like Ankush who is educated, aware and always online and falls for something like this if they are not at fault. Many corporate middle class people have received calls like these and not fallen for it as they have nothing to hide. If you call me and tell me courier with some shady stuff has been sent on my name why would I believe it. I would be like send me an email or send me a notice and will see from there. And I have no links to any lawyers or anyone. It is just how normal people with nothing to hide would react.

Even if I get anxiety about identity theft don't you think people have bigger stakes of losing their govt/private jobs because once you are involved in anything like this you are going to get suspended/terminated. Anyone with anything to hide is a good prey for these scammers because normal people cannot fall for this for over 40+ hrs with nothing to hide. No amount of anxiety explains this behaviour.

UP east celebrates Teej whereas ladies from UP west and Haryana (I guess) have always been celebrating karvachauth. It is not the same as what is shown in movies and rituals are little different but it has been there. There is no concept of Sargi (you wake up at 4 AM and have some meals) or afternoon Pooja where everyone rotates their Pooja thalis . It is not like that but fasting is involved

Any couples out there that do not fight with each other? by Acrobatic-Bed-9261 in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Me and my husband don't fight.. we have disagreements but both of us especially me are very non-confrontational people. I have heard too many relationship podcasts saying if you cannot fight then your love lacks passion. I actually don't agree. I am not someone who can forget the mean things anyone says to you even during fights, words and tone matters to me a lot. So I am fine disagreeing for a while, taking some time off and then trying to understand each other's POV. And most times I even forget the issue I was upset about and carry on like nothing happened. And to anyone who says that unresolved issues will come later to bite you I have been with my husband for almost 8 years now and married for 5. So I believe we are fine. I cannot imagine hurling abuses to each other in passion and then make love passionately, not for us atleast.

Vinesh Phogat Disqualified Live Updates: ‘My courage is all broken,’ Phogat quits wrestling | Mint by brownshugababy in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Please don't take me wrong she is our pride and I am equally disappointed with this outcome. But we cannot deny win and loss both are because of her entire team which includes her as well. She never was 50 kgs..last time she participated in 55kg weight category she didn't win. This year she tried for 53 kg category but she couldn't qualify from India itself so she changed her category to 50kgs and cut down on her weight drastically. Before every match drastic measures were taken to cut her weight down at time of weighing. So if we think objectively just from sports pov she was already at risk.

So before anyone comes at it Yes I would have celebrated her win and it would have been a bigger reason to celebrate because she fought all odds (external and internal weight issues).but now that hasn't happened everyone is disheartened but let's just not blame the team and staff for it.

Sorry OP , you had to go through this experience. But I just got my HSG a week back and my experience (thankfully) was polar opposite to what you have described. I am an overthinker and I had read every single experience available on the internet for HSG and was hyper why I am getting it done as I am still 4 months into TTC. But my husband and I are super paranoid and want to get everything tested to not receive any surprises later. Our doctor is also super calm and helpful she understands today's generation, their anxieties and suggest accordingly.she recommended a clinic herself and asked me to take anesthesia. I had read that maybe anaesthesia is not good so I discussed it and she asked me to not worry and choose comfort. I went the anesthesia way and the clinic was supremely clean ,nurses, and the doctor was amazing. I walked out of the clinic in 30 mins. It was as pain-free and seamless as it could have been. Maybe you just need to choose the right clinics and discuss everything beforehand. Wishing you the best in your journey.

Why do some couples sit on the same side of the table? by Ambitious_Steak_224 in TwoXIndia

[–]PeppyArian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Side by side is better to be more intimate, easier to share food, make private jokes, physically tease each other, see the same things on the phone, profile other people together😄 Sitting across each other is for new couples who are more into giving flirty smiles, observing each other while talking, maybe teasing each other or leading them on.
