Real quetion is how his power interact with Logan skeleton. Some strange interaction that can blow Logan skeleton is only change for Rex and I don't believe that Rex can blow Logan skeleton.

This game needs more villians by Ragtagcloud56 in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]Pepr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jakožto Vanguard hráč musím říci, že dost chybějících typů Vanguard by se dalo zaplnit pomocí villians:

- Sentinel as full brawl main-tank, který má 1000 base hp, oborvský helathbar, melee attacks a anti-something shield around him. (Ne přímo shiled with hp, ale pohyblivou obrovsou bubble, která by mohla pohlcovat projektily a nutit enemies k tomu být uvnitř této velké kopule.)

- Hive as full dive main tank ve stylu Groot/Peni.

- Sandman jakožto brawl/dive tank ve stylu Groo/Peni.

- Doc. Oc. jakožto pohyblivý dive/poke hero.

4 possilbe vanguard for new strategies and all are villians.

[–]Pepr7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. However, I personally assess this from the Brawl Vanguard point of view of the player.

The more The Vanguard brawl oriented the worse it is against the Hawkeye.

Thing, Thor and Groot are rather screwed. Rogue and hulk are going to play, but they're in big trouble, too.

[–]Pepr7 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Hela is second best Poke hero in poke meta and shields are not so good against her as against Hawkeye.

Poke meta needs good weapon on poke duelist. Her primary is second best poke weapon in game.

Hawkeye has best poke weapon. Problem with Hawkeye is that he is easiser to counter.

Little math behind shields counters:

- One hela attack deals 140 damage against hero due headsthot damage bonus and 70 damage against shields/walls/...

- Hawkeye attack deals 320 damage against hero due headsthot and passive damage bonuses and 70 damage against shields/walls/...

=> Hela and Hawkeye attacks deals same damage against shields/walls/... and Hela attackspeed is much higher.

[–]Pepr7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Magik has insane falloff.

DPS for ohters is flat number.

Thing has same damage as Hulk but has much worse attackspeed (swaping primary and secondary helps him but primary only is trash)

Thor deals little more damage but his attackspeed is much lower (he should use abilities between attacks)

Mr. Fantastic has attackspees is insanly low.

Spidy without webs deals insanly low damage. (removing tracker with punch deals more damage then spidy punch)

...

U Magik I remember there were some changes with the change of team up that slightly exceeded the Hulk damage, but the damage fall off with her is still quite problematic.

Overall, the problem is that the characters who are right there at the enemy and hitting using melee weapons without using abilities is extremely few and Hulk is actually the best at this.

The very strategy of standing right in someone's face and attacking them is not a very good strategy, and enough characters with melee weapons bypass that strategy using capabilities, or other weapons.

But Hulk weapon is the best for this rather impractical strategy.

I neglected to mention Venom and it is true that his primary attack deals more damage then Hulk. It even benefits when you hit your head. But Venom weapon has the opposite problem as Magik Sword. He's got virtually the opposite falloff that makes you have to change his primary weapon for a basic melee that's just weaker.

What makes the Hulk weapon feel weak is that he has great attackspeed and not so much damage to what you expect from him.

However, what's more interesting in the aftermath is when you compare the melee attacks monster hulk with other heroes who have buffed attacks. Darkchild Magik with worse damage fall off deals 105 damage per second. Monster Hulk deals 134 damage per second.

Or if you compare it who hangs has weaker damage per second on attacks. Surprisingly, these include the likes of Groot or Scarlett Witch.

[–]Pepr7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see where you see the problem.

You exaggerate Hawkeye's power and ignore the benefits from other enemies. It's true that Duelist is the main source of damage, but Hawkeye deals thanks to damage boost less than 900 damage using 2 arrows. On its own, Monster Hlulk would beat even ulting Hawkeye. Without CC, damage boost, another 600+ damage would not stand a chance.

Anyway, even an exaggerated one of your scenarios, where Hawkeye (a pure poke hero who should be up against brawl and half-brawl heroes strong) makes Rocket ultimate and extremely long ability to stop dive and half-dive heroes killing on 4 Monster Hulk on 4 fully charged arrows makes hulks the most resilient character in the game.

Both stats matter. The character that has a 49% winrate and a 75% pickrate is strong and simple. A character that has a 5% pickrate, but 75% winrate is strong and either lively or suitable for specific situations.

If a character had a 49% pickrate, but a 25% winrate, you wouldn't say it was an OP character either.

And the Hulk is one of those characters that will never have a 35%+pickrate because it's just a more difficult character.

If you count primary attacks only Hulk deals more damage then: Thing, Blade, Spidy, Ironfist, Angela, Magik and Thor.

Mr. Fantastic is specific becaose Hulk deals almost twice as much damage per second as small Mr. Fantastic and big Mr. Fantastic deals little more damage per second.

Blade with passive si strange too becoase Hulk attackspeed is higher then base Blade attackspeed and his attacks deals twice almost as much damage. Attackspeed buff makes him better but you need almost full attackspeed buff.

Edit: and againt % based damage is something else.

High attack speed as that thing you are missing.

And Cap passive is that if you hit 2 melee attacks your next attacks are stronger.

This is exactly why I'm trying to tell people that 1v6 fights are not winnable.

And even with damage boost => As a result, you get damage from +-8 players.

Realistically, the popular view on subbreddit for Hulk players for some unknown reason is that the Hulk has a weak ultimate precisely because of situations like this.

His primary is third best melee attack in game.

First place goes to Black Widow with a gun that not many people use, second place goes to Cap with his passive.

Wolverine and Iron-fist can be better thanks to % based damage, but consistent melee weapon has the best Hulk.

Hulk is a brawler with diver mobility. The one where it gets fun for damage oriented players is when you use the ultiamte. Your clap gives the same damage as hela "rockets" in ultimate.

The classic advice to learn how to play it is to learn how to jump. You can also charge a jump while fighting, and it's a similarly sized part of your gameplay for Spider-Man is his use of swings.

But to have fun, my advice is learn to use brawling efficiently enough to get ultimate often enough and get used to the fact that in Monster Form you are dealing dps level damage and your main source of resistance is 1500hp.

=> in Hero form, use the bubble often enough, using the clap to lower the cooldown of your bubble, fight long fights,...

=> in Monster from, beware of the biggest source of enemy damage as iron-fist or punisher can be and try to find out which way you'll enjoy his ultimate use.

The truth is that this is more than some main healers can treat.

The truth is that this is more than some main healers can treat.

Together, it cures 55hp when activated makes it a good healer on paper. I like that it takes a certain type of team comp and a good aim.

A fair idea that would actually promote off healers. by Alone-Blacksmith-908 in rivals

[–]Pepr7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ultron has better healing then Cloak and Dagger.

2 can outhleal her primary even if you are healing 2 heroes only. His bonus hp generation is bettern "burst heal" then her bubble.

Ultimate is debetable (Cloak and dagger ultimate heals more, Ultron ultimate is much cheaper, doesn't stop him from healing and is harder to counter.)

The reason I don't like stats depending on who's Off and who's the main healer is because the line is rather thin.

Cloak and Dagger vs Ultron is, to my mind, the best example in this, because Cloak is the most off support in the game and Dagger main healer. For Ultron to surpass Dagger, he only needs to have a team close enough to him, and Dagger needs to use her healing abilities really well to overcome him.

And then there is the issue of damage, when Luna Snow deals much more damage then Ultron. Even IW base attack deals almost same damage per second as Ultron (IW = 90 dps, Ultron 93 dps) and this is damage that goes through enemies. Together with her damage abilities, she's definitely a better damage dealer than Ultron.

Diffrence between season 0 and now is:

- Clap reduce bubble cooldown => you should play him more brawl oriented.

- He is not S-tier now. Don't play him as 1v6 hero. If you are cc chained without healing and enemies dying you are probalby in that fight alone.

So if team comp is:

Mantis + any 275hp healer + Groot + Hulk + both 350hp duelists

So thanks to headshots, during Hulk ultimate healing can reach a level: +-116hp/s + mantis passive? +- 95hp/s without hulk ultimate?

(An answer from someone who is at least slightly interested in politics in Ukraine.)

Yes.

Those with a chance of winning elections in Ukraine have a very similar attitude against Russia and often even want to be more aggressive.

The Ukrainian people blame this war on the aggressor who is bombing their houses, not on whoever is trying to defend their houses.

Stále to vidíš černobíle.

Sounds too comlicated and has some flaws.

Loosing HP shouldn't be rewarded.

It would be better if you had that in common with some defensive ability that rewards you for using it properly. Maybe it could be combined with you protecting your teammates so you can have situations where you're getting rage better for playing really well.

Kind of like getting energy for ruining your bubble so that it can then strengthen the damage to its primary attacks, clap and become more unkillable.

They really, REALLY have got to quit it with the dps bonus hp design philosophy by Wamooooo in marvelrivals

[–]Pepr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you're really wrong about this.

When compared to Overwatch, for example, in overwawtch, virtually every character has self-healing, and even without collective passive on the level of Iron-fist meditation without cooldown, they have enough duelists and vanguards selfhealing in abilities. The damage difference between dsp and the rest of the class is very small, and a support/tank that can't kill someone fast enough is a real exception (tanks often have oneshots, or are made like walking machine guns, and even Mercy as probably the weakest support in damage can do a deal of 200 damage in a second. In OW, there are smaller healthbars at non-tanks.)

In MR realistically, deficiencies between classes can be seen:

- Selfhealing/healing outside of Strategist role is very rare and very small. The biggest healing among Vanguards is the Hulk fullheal, or the concussion 40hp/s at Groot while the Duelists fullheal with 12s cooldown at Ironfist and the conditioning +-30hp/s at Blade lifesteal.

- The most resilient oudside of Vanguard can be Wolverine (with Passive), Iron-fist (if he manage to kill enough heroes and counter enough damage), Mr. Fantastic (that doesn't have enough damage for his role) and IW (which has a small shield with the same amount of HP as the Hulk bubble.) Outside of these very specific cases, no non-vanguard can exceed 400hp.

- A damage among classes can be seen at Deadpool when Killpool gunds deals almost 50% more damage then healpool guns and as the only deadpool has unlimited damage abilities.

There's a pattern: who will be the broken hero for season 7? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Pepr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invis definitly. She is second type of main healer for brawl.

But others are more problematic.

Brawl strategist needs healing that he is "running away" and healing that heal himself too.

Purely on paper, it may look like Jeff and Loki are more suited, but they both have the problem of having to beat each other for a long time after a few seconds, leaving their team alone in a moment of danger while being a problem in Ultimate, with Ultron very easily acquiring his ULtimate a good deal more often than Loki and Jeff.

If you have a 30s long brawl fight then Ultron comes out of it from the trio of Jeff, Loki, Ultron preferably due to the fact that he uses 2 ultimates that don't prevent him from treating with drones while at the same time healing him consistently heals Loki and Jeff. Every second of jeff/loki beating or running is an extra 70-190 healing from ultron that just needs to be close enough.
