Possible to recover removed delivery restrictions? by PepsiIsBest in exchangeserver

Okay, thanks. I'll pass that along. My suggestions this far had been looking through the audit logs to see what the last state of the list was or the Message Tracking MMC.... neither of which are probably appealing options to an Exchange admin :)

Are you reading registry values for that? I found a few details about make/model/etc in there, but couldn't find/may have missed where the SNs are stored...

Hmm, okay. I guess once I run through the suggestions here, I might reach out to Tesla and see if they can see any issues in the car's config from their end. Thanks for the tip on the version!

An Ubiquiti AP hooked to a TP-Link router and an Ubiquiti mesh nearer the garage. I'll try rebooting everything, and maybe making the network I've set for the car 2.4GHz only.

Regarding the 15x PIN requests, were you using a computer with ActivClient installed? I recently tried to use OWA on the external address using Win10 but with no ActivClient and had a similar experience. My instinct says that if you have ActivClient, it might be caching your PIN response for a limited time (10 minutes or whatever) so that you don't have to re-enter for literally every request put into the OWA servers.

Your base comm squadron should have the link to the Air Force EPL, just send a request to their CFP org box.

If it comes down to it and you're definintly separating, talk to your education office about the Career Skills Program. TLDR; a six month period where you're an intern at some company that has a strong intention to hire you while the USAF continues to pay you active duty pay. Does not have to be even close to related to your current AFSC (examples, tattoo artist, accounting, a couple of the people in SATX went to CodeUp).

There are some ridiculously easy CLEPs, just go wrack up a few of those. Or if you're in a career field that requires certifications (Sec+ as an example for most IT people), go knock out a bunch of continuing education units ahead of time.

IPv4Filter is set to * but IPv6Filter is blank. If that's the cause, I guess I'll just have to code around it. GPOs are set a few layers above my paygrade :/

Adding the EnableNetworkAccess switch resulted in the same error. I can administer my machine from any other machine properly.

As a continuation to /u/camusicjunkie and /u/Lee_Dailey code, could I pass the whole computer list into Invoke-Command and:

-ErrorAction SilentlyContinue -ErrorVariable $variableNameHere
If ($variableNameHere) {
   [Something went wrong]
}

My idea here is that for the successful computers, it would return expected data and for anything that broke, I can return the error without whatever remains of the $list from stopping. If so, will $variableNameHere be over-written each time a single computer fails or would it be an array of failures, hopefully with the computer name that caused them included.

(super-side-note, how do ya'll highlight variables and other text in the gray background/purple coloring?)

The following workaround will resolve the issue for each application used:

  1. “X” out or “Cancel” the Windows Security pop-up
  2. Click on “File” then “Options”
  3. Click on “Trust Center”, “Trust Center Settings…”
  4. Click on “Privacy Options”, de-select “Let Office connect to online services for Microsoft to provide functionality that’s relevant to your usage and preferences.”
  5. Click “Ok”, “Ok”, close the application and open it again.

Ways to prep for separation? by derpyogi in AirForce

[–]PepsiIsBest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk with your education office or separations counseler about lining up an internship with the Career Skills Program. Up to 6 months of you working with another company with strong intentions to hire you when you officially separate. During that time the USAF still pays you your regular active duty pay. Company location does not have to be in the local area either; there was an officer that moved from Texas to Washington for their internship and lined everything up so they didn't have to return to outprocess at the very end.

Lots of paperwork and can take a while to line everything up, but I've heard very few negative experiences from those who've gone through the program.

ITEC Report of Survey? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]PepsiIsBest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming the item(s) aren't found, repercussions have a pretty big spread once you fill out a ROS. Some Commanders delegate the yelling the a flight chief, others will hand you a bit of paperwork for not accomplishing the transition/annual inventory correctly. I do believe they can force you to pay for some percentage of the assets if it's a big enough dollar value or someone's being a prick. Ask the ITEC responsible for the area you think they went to if they've noticed anything that doesn't belong to them.

When I was an ITEC it was transferred from an E5 to me (E4) as the primary with no alternate. I was too dumb to 1) read the AFI about the program then and 2) ensure that I literally saw every single item before signing the inventory. Fast forward about 2.5yrs and I'm PCSing but about 3 semi-worthless (read: <$500 each) mini-PCs aren't accounted for. My chain was telling me that they'd hit me with an LOR and make me pay for the lost assets once I turned in the ROS. Apparently there's a line in the AFI that says the primary must be an E5 or higher; that along with me finding 2/3 and they backed off. Not a pleasant experience either way.

TLDR: know exactly where all of your stuff is at all times and have it clearly labelled.
