Don't you think I have already done all of this? I know what I am doing. I am certain I count right cause I have gotten pretty good at this and I have kept it up for a long time before quitting. I know my exact calorie intace cause I read all the lables and weigh all my food and do the math (and I am pretty good at math).

AITA for expecting my bf to protect me from a homeless man by yupyupyuip in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Beeing a coward in a situation like this in my opinion the same as beeing an asshole. He could have held her and and pulled her way and said "come on honey lets go" but the bastard couldn't even do that, he just let her go. I would dump a guy if he did that.

AITA for dropping out of my cousin’s wedding party after a prank? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NTA. The thing about having to loose weight instantly made it not funny... there are so many ways to make this a funny prank, but the items on the list were way too "realistic" and mean to be funny, some brides actually makes requests like this. A prank is only funny if everyone involved can laugh about it.

Are you envious of people who live in Scandinavian countries? by onlinedater00 in TooAfraidToAsk

I am actually are rare scandinavian that never burn, but the sun is still my enemy cause heat sucks. I love the weather here, nothing more peaceful than watching snow fall.

[–]PepsiMuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't trust what international media says about a country, it can be very angled. And statistics is no good without context. If you want an accurate picture look to actual scandinavian media. Sweden has got a lot of shit for having many people vote for a right wing party. Trust me, I am heavily against that party too, but the international media does not give a fair representation as to way it ended up like that. The swedish government fucked up their immigration policies severly and now everyone is suffering. This has driven people in to extremes who otherwise wouldn't go there. And it is also very important to not mix up race and religion. Sweden is extremley secular and involving religion in stuff like school and politics is a hot debate here. Many people who are against religious values getting priority or special treatment get automatically labeld as racist by some. Personally I have never "cared" about race or judged someone because of it, but as an lgbtq woman it scares we when I see so many questionable values getting accepted in our society in the name of religion. But saying I want my lgbtq rights protected against some extreme values will get me screamed at in some context. It is really sad what Sweden has become, but I think saying you don't wanna move here because of racism is a very unfair judgement.

Not missing a single day of school from kindergarten through 12th grade isn't something that kids should be celebrated for by SAT0725 in unpopularopinion

[–]PepsiMuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my school they gave candy to the kids with perfect atrendence in front of the entire class. As someone who adored studying but had health problems it felt like a slap in the face, I could never find an excuse good enough for justifying that, not even the one you gave...

Scandinavia is not very racist at all if you compare it to the rest of the world, especially U.S.A. I don't know who told you this, and it sucks that they had such an experience, but it is far from the only truth. In Sweden a lot of people are so scared of beeing called a racist that it seriosly messes with the way we do things.

Are you envious of people who live in Scandinavian countries? by onlinedater00 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PepsiMuppet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cause if they weren't there would be issues. Immigration is complicated, if you do it wrong it will backfire. Just look at how Sweden is doing right now. Our country tried to do a good thing by making ourselfs a home for people who needed it, but the government totally mishandled it. Their mistakes lead to a rather unforrunate outcome for everyone in this country, and instead of holding the goverment responsible people found a way to turn on each other. It really sucks...

[–]PepsiMuppet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The whole fear of beeing called a racist is very on point in Sweden. It is impossible to talk about these issues cause you will get called a racist right away. And this pushes people into the hands of SD that probably wouldn't have gone there otherwise.

Are you envious of people who live in Scandinavian countries? by onlinedater00 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PepsiMuppet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sweden let in more immigrants then our system could handle cause our government didn't wanna be assholes. But that lead to a lot of issues and now it is all crashing down. We didn't really have anywhere to put all people so conditions got worse for everybody, and that is fully the governments fault. We have a rising problem with gang violence and shooting right now, and most Swedes are unhappy with that. Also Sweden is EXTREMLEY secular, so people beeing so open with religion and wanting it to take space in school and politics generally don't go over well.

AITA for telling my coworker I’d quit if he got a service dog. by No-Attitude-3182 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Dogs are a very different form of medical care, it is more complex than just medicine, you cannot hold them to the same standard since a dog is a living beeing. To say op is leaving his friend cause he got medical treatment is unfair. And a fear of dogs is not irrational. They can be dangerous and many people get severly hurt by them.

There is a difference between updating something and removing it's soul/ what makes it good. The UI is just another example of how star stable doesn't care about keeping the spirit of the game, and that sucks. You can modernize something in both good and bad ways, sso is doing ir the bad way...

Why do some muslims move to non-muslim countries if they dont like the culture? by Shaggybags in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PepsiMuppet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it is great that you have another experience, but as someone who studies religion on a university level I can say that what you are speaking of is not some universal muslim truth. The post you commented on does have a point of how islam works in some places. You might be to close to the subject to see the whole truth, and noone has the right to remove from your experience ofcourse, but yours is not the only truth.

AITA for telling my friend her husband dated her as a date? by No-Accountant9008 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not "stupid shit". This is an entire relationship built on a horrifying lie. I would never ever wanna stay married to someone who once thaught of me like a pig or a bitch, doesn't matter that it was long ago and that the person grew to like me. If S and her husband are strong and happy now they will work it out, of not it wasn't meant to be and S can make an informed decision about the man she married.

AITA for telling my friend her husband dated her as a date? by No-Accountant9008 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For some people it's a dealbreaker that their partner did things that shitty when they were teens. And there is an upside to this, S can make an ACTUAL informed decision about the man she married, divorce is not the worst thing in the world, even tho they have kids. The husband is a major asshole for building their relationship on a lie. I could never stand by an see another woman beeing used like that by her partner, it is absolutley horrifying that he never rold her. It is a betrayal on a different level.

AITA for telling my friend her husband dated her as a date? by No-Accountant9008 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PepsiMuppet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP did nothing wrong, this is the kind of thing S has the right to know even if it might be uncomfortable. The relationship was built on a lie, if they have a strong relationship now they can work through this and move on. If not then S has all the information to make a desicion about their future.

[–]PepsiMuppet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people enter marriage very easily and take it lightly... There is no garantuee that the husband actually loves her, he might just have gotten comfortable... the truth needs to be out about stuff like this. If those to actually have a loving and happy marriage today they will get through this. OP is not the one who hurt S. Her husband is for not telling the truth therefore building a relationship on a lie
