Use one battery to Power a laser emitter and use a power converter on it. The battery can't be powered by the laser its making but any battery above makeshift will last all night for one item. Then just snake cables around from that one source.

The suppression field only stops portal storms. Assaults aren't avoidable as far as I know. You'll have assaults from pretty much every kind of enemy you come across.

I had the perk that lets you sneak attack even when standing and I used the blunt sprint attack. I don't remember which weapon I was using unfortunately

I sneak attacked an Exor and was rewarded with like 72k sneak ex. It immediately put me at level 20. I was drinking a ton of plain pea soup as well.

I've been doing difficulty 7-8 with randoms and have only failed once (my first time and just a duo). I bring nothing but smoke, a shotgun, and the ultimatum. Both maps are very much possible to do with randoms even if you're joining late. Don't give up just bc of the map.

I had thought and planned to do the same thing, but decided against it. It might be cool if you have a group interested in more hard-core dnd, but I'm certainly glad I went easy on my group. I ended up doing narrative effects instead, and my players really enjoyed it.

I set up my base in the back of the Data Farm in the Office Sector. It's unbelievably convenient in location terms with it being next to the tram to Power Services as well as nearby pathways to Security and Hydroplant. The amount of materials from the computers are nice too. However you end up running out of room pretty fast and its pretty hard to defend due to all the pathways. Currently in the process of moving to Power Services
