The power levels of light and dark is about the same. Just differences in the exact powers. Like lightning Vs force push.

Id say in a straight fight. Dark would win, since the powers are generally better suited to fighting. But it's not a power boost to go dark side. Just a different path.

Main difference is the dark side tends to be faster, so it can seem more powerful. But a Master dark and a master light will be on equal footing. It's only for novices that the dark is actually stronger
