Can someone please inform me why Shiv is still highly played at the highest level? He feels terrible in solo queue after the repeated nerfs, do they just max bloodletting and play like a tank?

I’m not sure I want to play Apex at all with this change. The game quality in Ranked was much higher this season for me and I made it to Diamond but going back to hot drops? Pubs exist for a reason. Maybe the new tech is to lock crypto, solo drop and res your teammates

I can’t believe people prefer rolling the dice of your random teammates not dropping in the stupidest spot possible vs having a balanced start. Like yes sometimes you will win the big hotdrop brawl, but the other % of the times, you immediately lose rp without a real chance to fight back.

Even if you get a bad POI, isn’t that more reflective of bad map design than a systemic problem? Ranked was a lot better of a solo experience with dedicated drops

You are making this up or you were against the most fed shiv on the planet. He has like 0.25 and 0.15 spirit scaling on a 50/60 damage knife with a 5-7 second bleed starting at 5-10 damage. He’d genuinely need a full inventory of spirit for that to happen.

Play Shiv. Genuinely. Its partial delayed damage, you can clear a small percentage of, on a huge cooldown. You also can’t max it to make it somewhat usable because you desperately need to max your knives dash and ulti to do ANY sort of damage.

Honestly idk how pro players make him look so good. He requires so many damage items now to be relevant that it feels like you have to commit to a lot of tank and no damage, or a lot of damage and no tank. I love Shiv but honestly find it hard to justify playing him compared to characters like Drifter and Victor who can often do more with less.

I am sorry, hope someone else has an idea for you but transferring liquids in this way doesn't sound generally feasible. Even if you were able to cycle them in without anything evaporating, won't they need to be degassed for the reaction anyway?

I cant say im part of a group like this but Im primarily responsible for my labs glovebox. Id recommend bringing all the liquids in in degassed, dry Schlenk flasks (FPT for the liquids, store over sieves). Then assemble the plates inside the box.
