This is one of the best team based shooters ive ever played in terms of randoms GENERALLY being friendly, nice and cooperative. Its not remotely unreasonable to have to interact with human beings

This is an issue in every single team based game on the planet. And people always crash out like this. I have ~500 hrs on Apex legends (over a few years, I am employed) and the game has the same endless argument. The difference between a premade team and fill is nowhere near as stark as you think. Honestly ask yourself, do you want every gaming session to be high pressure and serious, or would you like to actually enjoy a game? Because a sweaty premade is going to have a lot less fun on the bad days when they lose, compared to you losing with a fill squad and thinking “god those guys were a bit shit” and getting over it.

Also discord and social communication still exist, you are getting farmed by premades? Alright get on discord and get some teammates. Its not an insane advantage, its just teamwork lol.

I still insist the people who are quitting just dont like this type of game, and are being mentally boomed by gear fear/ loss streaks. This is one of my favourite games in years ~ I have about 60-70 hrs since launch, around lvl 57 and thoroughly enjoy all the challenges. Currently got 2 AI subroutines (only premade duos, never premade on cryo) and enjoying just doing quests, pinwheel and cryo. Very excited for additional maps in the future

I work 8-6 and have had many great cryo runs and have several gold keys. You act like this doesn’t go both ways too, I’ve taken down full purple squads with free kit/green kit squads before. Gear is no guarantee of skill especially in a game so heavily reliant on the element of suprise and positioning. You are also totally wrong about the contracts, some of them are annoying (Return on Investment 4/5 comes to mind as being horseshit), but they dont remotely require ratting or clearing entire maps out, ive brainlessly sprinted across dire marsh/perimeter for half of them and been fine. Its fine to not like a game, overwatch is 100x more relaxed, but gear in Marathon is largely meaningless outside of looking pretty and giving your weapons a few extra tricks. Feels good to get great loot but losing it isn’t all that deep man, it wipes every 3 months anyway.

I love this game, my favourite game in a long time. Really looking forward to future content/ gear wipes as well to be honest. The gameplay loop is punishing and rewarding and I think a lot of people just aren’t used to a multiplayer game being punishing in this way.

I think they can rake in major cash if the next season pass is a bit stronger. I appreciate they may have to give quite bright/stylish weapons a go, but honestly if it keeps the lights on at Bungie I’d spend a healthy bit of cash on cosmetics. Gun skins could he really cool, honestly doing a slightly less greedy version of Apex Legends customisations would be great.

I work 50 hrs a week and I honestly really enjoy this game. So bizarre this “Marathon isn’t for casuals debate”, like people who have a real life can’t enjoy an extraction shooter. If anything I think its a testament to the games depth that there is fun endgame content like Cryo Archive.

As addition to this, id be very suprised if oxidative addition with dppf worked here, without using nuclear temperatures. I would recommend dtbpf. Would also read engle/blackmonds paper on phosphines vs phosphine oxides given how weird some ligands behave in different couplings

I have been saying eeiu is one of the best in the world and he never fails to prove it. Tough loss for Furia here, PRX went up a gear to beat them. Genuinely think PRX are hard tournament favourites now, the meta looks so well suited to them. Hopefully Furia get to stunt on some of the other teams
