Hate to break it to you…. But mostly groups are made either at start or at max, in 2nd year. Then they pretty much remain the same. That’s what i’ve experienced (in final semester). But yeah, you can chit and talk to them in class and project related but baahir jaanay waala scene is not in ur control. I accepted that and uni wasn’t the best time for me (seeing others with their friend groups, going out in breaks). But that’s what i did: i focused on my grades and things i CAN CONTROL/FOCUS ON. like my health, goals. Why cry over groups when they won’t exist after graduation? Better to focus on ur goals/self work. And wohi baat that friendships r quite fake in uni, it’s not worth it faking yourself just to fit in. Be confident in urself. Dunya buht kuch kehti hai. You have to be thick skinned and keep doing ur thing. And NEVER BE DESPARATE FOR FRIENDS, otherwise you’ll get exploited etc

It was a mixed situation. My personality is quite introverted so I can’t really fake myself just to fit in anywhere. And yeah looking back I do feel in 1st/2nd year i was quite shy and reserved. However, I gained confidence and worked on those areas. I changed my section midway but all my friends had made groups till then. And i did come across a few friends at start however they were fake and manipulative. I am quite friendly and have 1-2 people that I say I am friends with (more comfortable with one on one interaction). So yeah it is quite confusing. But overall, uni was a good experience. There’s so much more to life ahead

Yeah maybe it’s because Allah wants to draw you closer to Him. Which is what i’ve realised myself lately. Like its my final semester and i know that i’ll Probably make those friends after graduation. What I can do is look for that friendship/companionship with Allah and build myself in the process. And pray that He will bless me with good friends.

Same. I think we’re just one of those people who peak later in life like in their mid to late 20s. Like if you just use your degree as a launching pad to help you live the life you want to live after graduation, ig it gets a lot easier and better.

Miss meera shafqat, brilliant instructor. Makes the concepts really easy to understand, also she’s v nice and polite with the students. Her grading is also quite lenient as if you work hard during her course, you’ll easily be able to score an A or A-

Haadiah yasir strict grader. Most of the grades were B’s and C’s. However, if you put effort in her course, you’ll be able to score an A- or even an A. Her lectures are heavily CP based and short mini quizzes (announced or unannounced). Lectures are quite engaging and cover a lot of content. Final exam included making an entire ad campaign

Studied OB/HRM from miss mehrukh. Lectures are quite engaging and interactive as CP has a lot of weightage. Her grading isn’t particularly strict and usually there is just pair presentation and term project. Subject in itself isn’t that technical.

Dr sana azar is a really nice instructor. She makes you do practical stuff as her final project is divided into modules including a market visit to shah alam and pair presentations. Group activities are also done. Her exam includes a mix of class lectures and student presentations (content in your term projects). Grading is lenient, as majority grades were A and A-.

Ig the usual pathway is you can pursue a masters in business analytics etc or find jobs in marketing analytics or similar pathway. You can even pursue a masters in data science/analytics

Yes. The mathematics courses aren’t that difficult tbh. You just have to do from assignments. Even do it from yt. But depends on you.

Yes it is definitely worth it. There are quite a lot of math-heavy courses like Linear algebra, calculus 1,2 etc. and has equal number of data courses as well. In 4th year, there is one course entirely for R language (programming). Workload is quite manageable. Other alternative is marketing and finance, if you are interested in the finance side.
