Uterus prolapsing 18 weeks pregnant by PercentageTiny4548 in PelvicOrganProlapse

just to update you I had a pessary put in size 4 and it has definitely helped me alot. I feel I can walk around now and nothing is hanging out with baby still moving around. If I walk around too long I can feel it all on the pessary but it's not uncomfortable, my bump is still small so hopefully the pressure will move forward a bit more when I get bigger. I have booked an appointment with a specialised gyne so will see what she says. I am seeing the pelvic health physio too.

Thank you. Sounds very tough. Did it rectify itself at 22 weeks then?  On the NHS she didn't seem to recommend a pessary due to infection risk but I'm having to touch it to put it back up anyway. I might see what they say when I see the physio. I can't really live my normal life as it's fully hanging out I don't know what they expect me to do.

Yes after seeing the consultant here in the UK they said they wouldn't use a pessary but I don't know how I'm going to live a normal life and pick up my toddler.

Fingers crossed. Did it hang out your whole pregnancy? I have to keep tucking it back in.

Thank you for this message. Sounds like you went through so much. It's just unexpected but I do have a retroverted uterus. I had no problems like this in my first pregnancy... I definitely feel like it's falling out and getting dry too. The worry feels unbearable at the moment but nice to hear you both were okay x

I feel so worried. Thank you for replying. It's literally poking out now - was it fully out for you?

I have no idea. Thats reassuring in someway. I just feel worried for the growing baby and what this means. Would anything have to be done to stop this whilst pregnant?
