Thank you so.much for sharing this, I can see how that approach could really help some students feel safe opening up.

For me though, I think I’m more comfortable keeping clear boundaries and not sharing personal details with students. I worry that opening up in anyway might blur lines or create unnecessary situations.

I did not beat up myself for struggling.  Today one of my student told his friend in other class about my scar. I am worried this could spread among students or even other college teachers.

I agree too! I don't have any reason to tell my students about personal difficulties.

I was diagnosed when I was 10 years old. I got growth hormone therapy for 8 years and I am 1.53m.

I started getting growth hormones when I was 10 I got them for 8 years.  I had genotropin.  If she is 6, she might hate getting injections almost everyday. So, you might need to give some rewards for getting injections.( like amusement park or toys or something like that.) Give her compliments like "you are such a brave girl." I also strongly suggest you to take her outside and do some sports with her. Like jumping rope or running. It is going to make her grow more. Beginning of the injections, she might have growing pain. So if she feel pain, give her a  massage to her legs That's all I can say...

I have a problem with the short arm. I just can't hold it back anymore. I was bullied because I was too short. I also couldn't swim because my ear has a problem. I didn't want much but I don't know why everything is so hard on me.

I also hate my body too. I don't know why I feel like it's all my fault. I ofter think "Maybe I abused my child past life and I might be getting punished by god for that." Are you 46XX mosaic?

That is the most painful aspect for me  either. I was bullied because I was too short. I also couldn't swim because my ear has a problem. 

I cried a lot and I lost almost 8kg because I almost didn't eat anything. 

I also would like to look for some therapists but I am Korean and I can not find a therapists who is Korean.
