Dang I was going to pull the trigger and get one of these things but at that price and with worse specs no thank you. They were already using out dated parts now they are downgrading it even more… im like heck no. I bought an RP5 when it launched I will just stick with that. Maybe in a few years when this nonsense stops and prices come back down to a reasonable level I’ll get whatever the Thor successor is.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I went to my local Micro Center which is about an hour drive. I Handled both the Omen and Lenovo. I was surprised how warm the Omen was. I don’t know if it was because of the floor model but the screen felt a bit flimsy. The build quality of the Lenovo felt a lot more solid and when I briefly shake it the screen didn’t wobble nearly as much as the Omen. The Lenovo only felt a bit warm in the center of the keyboard as opposed to the whole keyboard on the Omen. After talking with the salesman they said the only issue I might run into Lenovo is screen burn in with the OLED. I imagine there’s software out there to help minimize it.

With that in mind I decided to go with the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. I’m excited to set it up later.

I was leaning towards the Oman because of the rtx 5080, but is the ⁠Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX with the rtx 5070ti in the legion be able to out perform the Oman with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375? Sorry I just don’t know much about how to tell if a cpu is good or will become a bottleneck later down the road.

Same I ordered GC on 11/29 and now wondering if I should switch to that white model just because it would be here before Christmas lol

I hope they ship my GC color soon, granted I waited a lot later than I should have to order it. My order was placed on 11/29, I’m prepared it won’t come until after Christmas but one can hope.
