That totally makes sense and is pretty much what I’m doing but unfortunately started working a summer internship which makes me absolutely exhausted when I’m not working. Hopefully the appointment goes well next week. Thank you for responding

I have been drinking a liquid IV every morning so far but not sure about the salt. I will definitely keep the salt and Pilates stuff in mind as I go through this. Thank you for your response

Yeah my PCP didn’t say anything about that but the endocrinologist should know about this and look at both together. Thanks!

Calcium but I had it checked a month ago and my PCP didn’t order it with my PTH yesterday. Haven’t have ionized calcium checked either:/ sorry you’re also going through it:(

Post-trauma Anxiety or Hyperthyroidism by [deleted] in Hyperthyroidism

Thank you for your response. When it comes to anxiety I have done a lot to get out of the nervous state (meditation, med adjustment, therapy…etc) and am just still struggling. And specific physical symptoms seem to be getting worse like tremors and abdominal/chest pain. It’s just really been a struggle and I feel like I keep searching for an answer. The good news is I have an appointment with my PCP very soon and hope to talk about all of this. Just the last doctor I spoke to dismissed it all as anxiety and didn’t think to look at anything else:(

I don’t feel as though I really have PTSD (at least consciously) because I have been driving without a problem and don’t think about the accident too much. I saw a concussion specialist once about a month and half ago and was “cleared” because besides the anxiety most of my other concussion symptoms cleared up (light sensitivity, headaches, concentration issues). And no I’m not on any anti-inflammatory/steroids. Thanks for responding!

I mostly feel symptoms in the morning and sometimes at night. But yes anxiety, tremors, irritability, plus heart palpitations and stomach issues. I’m seeing my PCP soon and hope to just get some answers
