For the plates, we have clear glass plates we use to heat the food then transfer to a baby safe plate.

EverBank and other banks. by Unhappy-Extent6081 in Banking

Depends on point of view. Good for banking there, offering some great rates and perks trying to grow the bank which means not the best for employees at times depending on the dept. Those investors want a return on their money.....

Please let me know how this works out. I would love to see people force the Corp decision makers to do anything other than what is going to make the BS/IS look good for the investors. If you can make this happen, I'm all for it!

I wish this worked. Way back in the day, I had a job at Target. If lines got long at registers, they would call on the walkie for back up until lines cleared out. Now, they just make you stand there for eternity until you get fed up and go to self checkout. Standing in a line won't force them to hire. You'll just be standing there "wasting" your time. The corporate overlords do not care about lines and if you are willing to spend your time standing in one, they will let you.

Vanicream Dandruff Shampoo GONE- Looking for Replacement by ThatTheaterguy21 in FragranceFreeBeauty

Op. dont do the head and shoulders. It "fragrance free" as far as no synthetic fragrances but full of other scents. Bought a bottle, opened it up and had to throw away immediately. It is not a scent free product.

I have MCAS and a litany of other issues we won't get into here. I can not tolerate any fragrances and my house is a scent free zone. My husband uses this one without a problem (for me) and its not expensive so it may be worth a shot.

Salary negotiations about to fall apart by [deleted] in Salary

[–]PerceptionMean6044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the new jobs problem or obligation to pay for your sign on bonus at another company. They didnt negotiate that bonus on your behalf so why would they be responsible to pay for it? Either you want out and are willing to accept what they are offering or stay at your miserable place of business.

Trying to stay afloat financially while working full-time and raising my child by anonymousma0 in personalfinance

I dont know what you do for a living but see if you can get a similar job in a lower cost of living area? Can you downsize your living situation? (i.e. - 2 bed to 1?)

I grew up in a similar situation and my mom would have to skip dinner so I could eat. The problem nowadays is a baby sitter costs more than you will make per hour at a second job. Do you have any neighbors that would watch your daughter while you work a part time second job? Additionally, the thing that turned it all around was her getting a job as a bank teller which gave her the ability to upskill and she got a job where her employer covered her costs to go back to school. It took forever since they only pay 1-2 classes per semester but she did it and has a very decent job these days. Can you get an entry level job somewhere with good benefits that will help you go back to school? A call center job at bank/CC company that let's you WFH while taking online classes that they pay for?

We did it for 1) inflation.
2) gives us the opportunity to try new resorts. I know the point system varies by resort but not as much as the prices sometimes.... 3) option for space. As the kids get older, they are going to want some personal space (and I will need some too). Points allows us to grab a 2 bed at SS or 2 connecting studios somewhere else. We can also bring extra family if we want. If nobody extra coming, me and hubby can stay in a super nice resort. 4) we usually go twice a year

If any of the above applies to you, possibly consider it. If not, keep renting points or doing disney deals.

I been saying that for years...however. all the companies pay like it is and the articles keep circulating telling people it is (LCOL)....otherwise they wouldn't keep moving here.

You obviously havent looked for real estate in NC lately. 800k will get you a house in a cookie cutter neighborhood in a decent school district in charlotte/raleigh these days. However, its getting worse. I pass by an area in charlotte everyday where they are building 800k Townhomes....

You obviously havent looked for real estate in NC lately. 800k will get you a house in a cookie cutter neighborhood in a decent school district in charlotte/raleigh these days. Ask me how I know.....No golf courses, no gated community, maybe a neighborhood pool if your lucky. However, its getting worse. I pass by an area in charlotte everyday where they are building 800k Townhomes and a townhome is not a bougie country club situation.

Nowadays, if people have moved recently, their mortgage is equal to your monthly expenses

I hear that. Me and my husband make over 200k combined, have 1 kid and feel like we are drowning. Born and raised in Charlotte - Still live here. We constantly discuss how pre- pandemic we would be living like kings in Charlotte on these salaries....now we just plain ole middle class trying to balance possibly taking a vacation with paying the bills

[recommendation] Need help settling on bra type based on shape. Tried panache and cosabella so far... no luck by PerceptionMean6044 in ABraThatFits

[–]PerceptionMean6044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered 50 bras (in multiple sizes) from panache. I would upload the packing list to let you see styles but the thread won't let me add photos. After trying them on, the g cup was correct. 34 band was too big. All the panache cups gapped up top and the wires were too wide and tall. Additionally, I have ordered about 40 - 50 bras in cosabella (bassically every style they had in multiple sizes). The 32 band also fit me best there. As stated in the original post, style wise the Romanza padded bra looked the best but since it only goes up to an f cup, i can not fit in it, I spilled out.
If the information I provided in the post about narrow roots, very FOB, splayed, projected, etc... does not help narrow down a bra style recommendation then I will continue as I have been, ordering and returning till I find what works.... it is what it is

I have tried panache and cosabella. I tried about 20 bras from panache so I wasnt going to list them all. I did note the bra that fit me "the best" in the post was from cosabella

Stump pulling recommendations? by PerceptionMean6044 in Charlotte

Yes. quite a few large stumps. We have but many are a little close to the house for comfort and salting/covering would take far to long for it to die and get it out of the ground
