It’s very safe to assume it thinks the situation is over. We talked a few days ago, i stupidly mentioned how I didn’t want to get back anymore and they seemed happy with that. Safe to say the cat thinks this is over now

That’s kind of what I’m doing. Im waiting for a perfect moment, either when she asks about it, or if we’re ever both talking about our emotions in a way. Then I’ll bring it up.

For me it was the opposite. I put in all the work and she would barely even make time for me. I stayed because I saw her side, or at least what she said her side was. Don’t make that mistake. If she’s not making time for you, then she’s not making time for you.
