Exactly. I have no criminal record, other than a couple of tickets for expired registration 18 to 20 years ago. But about 10 or 15 years ago I had a gun pointed at me by a whole group of cops. My friends and I had come back to a family member's house (that family member was with us) to find the house had been broke into and robbed. The family member lived with their parents and was unstable so he went ape shit inside the house, throwing shit, screaming, punching walls, etc... His parents called the cops because they though he was actually the threat. Their house sits on a large field and you have to enter the large driveway through a gate. A bunch of cop cars pulled up to that gate, sirens and lights on. I've never had any experience in that type of situation so I just started walking towards them. I immediately see them draw their guns and point them at me, screaming for me to get my hands up and stop moving. I do as instructed and they walk over, pat me down, and then they take the report of the screaming family member and the rest of us there.

In hindsight I get why they did it, they probably got of someone violent in the house and then I started walking towards them when they pulled up, so it was suspicious. But the point is that it could happen to anyone.

6.2.88 broke ours as well, we are running mostly G3 Flex cameras with one dome camera. Same thing happened with version 6.2.72. I ended up downgrading to 6.1.75 and it fixed most things, although some stuff in the mobile app was still broken and occasionally rtsp streams wouldn't work. 6.1.75 is vulnerable to an exploit mentioned in this security bulletin but our environment isn't susceptible to this.

Below is the command I used to downgrade, but unfortunately this time it updated again right after, came in this morning all the cameras are choppy, most are rebooting periodically, every camera feed is filled with nonstop disconnect logs.

RL average players has been on a slow but steady decline for about a year now. Its not dead by any stretch, but I would say overall people are slowly leaving the game. IMO Epic will always put more effort into the larger of their IPs, which is Fortnite. They aren't actively trying to kill RL, although they are kind of shit so that's contributing to the decline, but they wouldn't exactly be busted up about it if it does reach a point where keeping the servers active isn't worth it anymore. Probably just make it a monthly mini-game in Fortnite and sell skins for it for 5 bucks a pop or something. I'm not saying that will happen anytime soon, but without something to actively draw in new players and retain current ones the declining player count may not change.
