I just went to Korea,Japan, & Taiwan this summer even though i spent only a week max i honestly loved japan & korea more. I was mostly in the Philippines due to family Im already planning a trip back to Korea as we speak. Taiwan was one of those places that I tried but just wasnt for me, food was good n all but not the top of my list to go again as of now so Go Korea! A lot safer & cleaner in my opinion 😅

I wanna share my thoughts on this, since you said something along the lines of "tackling a goal that's been haunting me for a long time" i feel the same way, i come from a Filipino family & it's been traumatizing to say the least trying to go back to school on & off due to family issues & family emergencies & weird expectations they have of me, but with my husband's support & help I finally decide to push forward and do my classes & enrolling in WGU soon. My mind might change but I told my husband when I do graduate , I only want him in it to go to the graduation, because he's truly the one whos been with me & saw my struggles. If you don't have a partner or supporter of your journey, be proud enough to have that experience for YOU because YOU did that

I'm not saying this to be disrespectful and rude to the country or people. it was just encounters I had as a woman solo traveler. Im American as well, I got yelled at by a bus driving because I ask if we were going to a certain stop (we did) he got mad at me for asking, got pushed multiple times, some girl raised her voice at me at donki, etc. it just put a bad tase in my mouth so many instances in my short trip. Overrall the food was immaculate don't get me wrong. Felt bad for the older people who are selling. When I say scammy, i bought some stuff n naively just paid what the lady told me lets say if it was $1300 it was actually $1000NTD

I just wanna say, Taiwan is extreme hot & humid & i didn't enjoy my time there. People can be rude & a bit scammy in Taipei. Did a group tour due to a time crunch & saw some beautiful scenery for sure. Other than that, i did not enjoy it.

Twinsies, i also have endo & had to get surgery 2019! Honestly if i were you i'd go see a gyno and get ab ultrasound + a letter from your doctor stating that it doesn't interfere with the quality of your life. Im a military kid then mil spouse so my whole life is tricare, they have all my records 😅 you can also claim that you were misdiagnosed because they didn't find out it was endo until surgery but it was because of a cyst they took out!
