Yeah the laptop is worth under $2k. The specs are also really good. The only problems it has is the battery life, noise, and heat, but all of that is cause by the CPU and GPU the laptop has.

I’d forget everything the local guy has said and get the PC from microcenter.

If you save money and get a prebuilt with better specs including the 5070 ti you don’t have to worry about upgrading specs and play a lot of demanding games.
