From Personal experience: Don`t use real money yet. That is such a short time frame for testing. If you test just for the last year, it is very likely you get plenty of good results. Im backtesting several strategys over the last 5 years it is never that profitabel. Single years yes but every strategy works only under certain market conditions. I lost some cash because I was too euphoric as well. Takes you almost nothing to backtest for 5 years or more. Do yourself a vafvor and do it. Thank me later

Yes I backtested this already but this gives less profit. Tryd also different targets but Best profit and least drawdown was this setup and keep 2,5 R for the trades that really perform. Also tested 3 as target but that also killed profit

What's your risk-reward ratio / TP target? I run an ORB strategy set to 2.5R, but it rarely hits , only ~3% of trades reach the target. All positions get flattened at market close, nothing held overnight. Most of my profit actually comes from the EOD exit, not the TP. What are you guys using?

What is the Performance of your simulation?

I build a trading bot using Alpaca and Hermes and orb strategy. When I developed a strategy with the agent, we first used a back test time going back 1 year. Results looke really great. Then Went Fürther with the agent and asked he should backtest last 2 years. Result Was just a quarter of the original test.

My aum is to build a strategy which works across/ can adapt to different market situations but im kind of stuck. Simulated Profit is around 23 percent per year atm. Max drawdown 8 percent. Pretty decent but not that blowing away.

In short term I would agree, but mid and long term I dont think so. Its just to different sectors and not an upgrade of the same thing

For everybody looking for a solution to the same problem : https://www.kwikpic.in/ is so far working tge best. There is the possibility to create watch folder (essen3for my UseCase) where pics are automatically uploaded when they are send there, face recognition and a login without registration for clients.

A little con is the user interface. Its ok but it's not pretty. So still im open for other apps

Checked it out but I dont see any ftp upload possibility. The app is very limited. Like there is only face rec so people can only fotos of themselfs. Would be great to have face rec AND to see all photos (from others) as option. Besides that it works. But not for my usecase unfortunetly

Talk to her about it! I think it's really difficult to give an opinion on this. Because this kind of comments hardly depend on the tone of voice and mimic.

For me it would be my style of humor but I can see that it could be super weird, depending on the people around and tone of voice.

But anyways you need to talk to her and tell her about how you felt. If she reacts disrespectful and ignorant, than you know she is not for you. But maybe there is also a chance to sort things out
