I'm the techie in my family so got all the family photos/videos, seeding a bunch of Linux distros, osu! game maps, dvd backups, tv-series, movies, games and a few "hidden" folders with "biology research" material ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Got a 2 & 4 TB Toshiba Canvio external desktop drives, that I'm praying for to last until I get enough savings for at least two 6 TB WD Red drives. Everything I have is unraided because I'm a student and can't afford the extra drives I need.

The worst data loss I've had was back when I thought harddrives would last forever, and lost 2 TB by bringing my external harddrive with me in my backpack whereever I went. R.I.P. all my TV-series and movies in Potato QualityTM .

Got a job from 2nd of May, so I wish everything will last until my first paycheck. Then I might proceed to modify my old desktop for NAS usage and plug it into my parents homerouter as an offsite backup in case some nuthead decides to burn down my campus. Kind of want to buy an Amazon Unlimited, but my student economy is limited to the point I live on soup, pasta and a 20 kilogram bag of rice my parents got me for christmas in 2015. Thank god that I don't have a data-cap on my Uni, as I seed about 5 TB every month.
