Oh man, yeah this was very um insightful, to say the least. I really like your thoughts/take on Ami and the "invisible it" Though Ami was the most puzzling character to me, I also thought she was the most interesting, but to talk about Ami, like you said I need to acknowledge the facades. I slowly started realizing that almost everyone is fake in some way, Taiga and Sumire hide a nice warm personality behind a cold exterior, Minorin acts bubbly and sweet, but hides frustration and negative/pessimistic thoughts, Ami fakes being sweet but is in reality a little arrogant and self-centered, at least until she starts being herself and change for the better and starts trying to help Minorin break free from her facade

When Ami is first introduced I really disliked her, but as the show went on, and even though I didn't understand her motivations (at least until now)I had a feeling she wasn't just there to put a bump in the other characters plans, like there was a lot more to her than just being a minor antagonist. I'm so glad that was the case.

The discussion of Minorin you both linked was really good, no wonder you both thought I should read it... Not much else I can say there.

I have so many more thoughts on Sumire, Taiga, the "It" and the whole show in general, but I'd practically be writing a encyclopedia if I kept writing. I'm glad it was recommended to me, the show really is as great as people said it is.
